Fantastic Trullo with a superb view out over the countryside to the sea. Several places to sit including an outdoor lounge and an outdoor kitchen area. Pool area excellent with 180 degree views

We had a really lovely stay here in May 2026 as a family of five, and we'd happily return. The trullo itself is beautiful and suited us perfectly — very private and peaceful, with a pool the kids adored. Cleverly built, too: even in 30C heat it stayed naturally cool inside, so we never once needed the air con.It's a wonderful base for exploring. We had easy days out to Monopoli and Ostuni and discovered plenty of lovely local beaches, and the nearby zoo safari was a real highlight for the children. Italy really comes alive in the evenings, too — some of our loveliest moments were spent wandering Monopoli and Ostuni after dark. Do go in knowing it's genuinely remote — it's an 8–10 minute drive to the nearest shop — but for us that was part of the appeal.A couple of honest notes for future guests: the local cats can be a bit of a nuisance, and there were dogs barking through much of the night. The roads around the area also take some adjusting to if you're used to driving in the UK, France or Spain — busier and a little more chaotic — though nothing we couldn't manage.All in all, a beautiful, peaceful spot and a great property for a family. Highly recommended.

If you want a truly authentic Puglia holiday accommodation experience with plenty of space, surrounded by olive trees and peace and quiet, then the property is perfect. The location was perfect if you are wanting to visit places such as Osunti, Alberobello and Monopoli; all within 30 minutes by car - You will need a car, unless you just want to stay by the pool all day. Jo and Katia were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend.

Trullo Mandorla was somewhere we had long wanted to visit and expectations were high. We were not disappointed! Having driven straight from Bari airport we were shown round the luxury trullo by Nick and Sarah who manage the property. They were delightful and very thorough in explaining everything. The outside space is amazing with fantastic views over the Adriatic. A canopied lounging area, a beautifully landscaped garden, a fantastic eating area with kitchen and barbecue and a beautiful pool - what more could you ask for? Well, trees bearing olives, figs and almonds! Inside the trullo is just as stunning as outside - comfortable seating, a well equipped kitchen, three stylish bedrooms (one end suite) and an extremely large bath!! The views from the dining area are stunning. The trullo is ideally placed for visiting Alberobello, and the Valle d'Itria, Lecce, Monopoli and the fabulous Ostuni. The pictures of Trullo Mandorla on the website are great - the real thing is even better. Jo, the owner, was extremely prompt at replying to emails before we arrived and everything was as promised. We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone wanting a holiday in Puglia.
