Great place to stay close to train station and close to centre of old town. Lovely hotel with a history, room spacious, clean and in fitting with hotel character. Staff/service staff at breakfast were all friendly and helpful, all appeared to take pride in their work.
Nothing, excellent spot to stop off before returning to Malpensa for flight home. Much better option than airport hotel in Milan!

The staff was exceptionally nice, the room ok. The hotel is very close to the train station (no noise from trains was audible, though), a bit further from the center and the lake, but they are easily accessible on foot.
The rooms on the side facing the station don't get many light during the day, which was ok for me, though - staying most of the day elsewhere, but might potentially be a problem for someone else.

The friendly staff. The location, which is only about 3 minutes away from the train station. Nice view of the lake.

Everything! It was close to the train station for starters! It has been in business for 103 years and they know what they are doing! Wonderful & helpful staff! Excellent food! Large, nice room!
The beds could have been better!
