This property absolutely stunning! If you’re looking for a location to be able to connect with nature this is the place for you. Deer are everywhere and we even saw bear across the river. Although my party consisted of myself, my husband and my adult son I would say this would be an appropriate property if a family had younger children. I’m not sure that I could say I would love this property if I had a toddler. Be prepared, to go anywhere it will take you roughly 20 minutes due to the nature of the roads getting from property to highway. There is in incline from the parking area that lead to many stairs getting to the front door of cabin. This property would not be ideal for anyone that is elderly that struggle with inclined terrain or stairs. Outside of that this is an absolutely beautiful area/property to stay at. The host is accommodating and has took the time to create a manual of all needed to know things! I have stayed at many properties no owners have been as prepared for guest as this host! Hope to be a repeat guest in the future.

We have stayed at this cabin several times over the years. It is always clean and well stocked, and Jess is a fantastic host. But at the end of the day we primarily stay here because of the great, private location along the river. It has become a highlight of our summer/fall whenever we get to go back.

Host: Jessica was very helpful & quick to reply. Brochure was accurate and helpful. Indoors: Tidy, plenty of space in all areas, beautiful artwork throughout, plenty of lighting, we cooked each night and kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, bowls, plates, utensils, etc. HVAC, washer/dryer, WiFi, glass cooktop, microwave, oven all worked very well. Jessica also un-paused the dish service for us (thank you!). Rec Center: Used the swim passes, all areas were clean, tidy and employees were very kind and helpful. We didn't really use the game room but was great location to take pictures of the wildlife and not spook the deer. Parking: Easily maneuvered and parked our 2 SUV's. Location: Really beautiful spot on the river and a creek runs beside the home. Wildlife: We enjoyed the deer very much. Visited Tractor Supply and placed deer blocks and corn. We had 6-10 deer visit daily after Day 3, the wood ducks, squirrels, and a huge flock of Canadian geese also enjoyed. Outdoors: We loved the outdoor swinging daybed and hot tub. We did not use the charcoal grill as prior tenants didn't clean after use which is really the only overly nit-picky thing I could say. Love the gated community which is staffed by helpful security. We loved staying at River Rock in Coosawattee because of the abundant wildlife which is also close but not too close to everything in town/area. We had a great spring break vacation. We look forward to coming back again. Thank you and God bless!
