Ridiculously great stay!! Love the authenticity, location to gion and kiyomizu-dera, local coffee % arabica and others within a block, fresco and Lawson one street over, quiet and peaceful off the mains street yet in the middle of everything. Easy to find and treated like royalty on check in. Loved every second of our stay and will absolutely return! Stayed as two couples and a baby (5 people total). Spacious and comfortable. Washing/dryer machine is a godsend.
Nothing, just beware the closest metro is 10-15 minute walk, so for all travel consider this and make sure those that stay can manage the walks. We personally loved it.

Great location and lots of room for where we were at.
Steep stairs, but ok given where the property was at and everything else was wonderful.
