Staff were so helpful, kind and friendly. Location is great right off the main drag and close to everything. Super clean with daily service. Ax was super appreciated. Dogs were friendly and lovely.
Sometimes in-house dogs barked at all hours.

We had a lovely double room with a private bathroom, which was very modern and clean. We also really liked the small terrace. The location was great, and we were able to park our car right in front of the house. Since it was the off-season, the front desk was unstaffed and some minor renovations were being done, but we were able to easily reach the very friendly staff via WhatsApp. We didn’t use the shared kitchen, so I can’t comment on it.

Location was decent - near the town without being right in it.
- No real use of the kitchen but you did have use of the filter tap; a must for Puerto Viejo.
- very thin walls with the room beside, felt like we were in the same room.
- sound insulation was very bad: we could hear every passing car. This made it very difficult to sleep and we had to get ear plugs.
- the toilet near us didn’t have a shower so had to walk through the property to use it…
