Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful location. However, the place was not very clean. The master shower had mold/mildew all over and you can tell it is not cleaned very effectively. 2 bathtubs and a sink drain were completely clogged when we arrived and had to call for maintenance. The kitchen has very limited supply’s which was surprising since it’s a condo that sleeps so many people. Not everyone likes to stop their beach day to go and grab food for all meals. Overall, it’s on a private beach which makes everything better!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Emarald Hill is the perfect location if you are wanting to get away with your family. It is close to Seaside ( without all the traffic) and there are so many great places to eat close by. The condo is located on a private beach making it much like a resort feel. (We had six adults and three children). The management at Emarald Hill is so accommodating. The communication I had with Candy before, during, and even after our stay was so helpful. She definitely went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. This was our second year to stay at this location due to the convenience, privacy, and the space Emarald Hill provides.

Had a great time in spite of the cloudy weather. Suggestions for a better stay would be: drapes/curtains along the patio doors, televisions in each bedroom, more kitchen items (soup ladle, slotted spoons, pot holders, spatulas, etc.), an easier dishwasher to use (we had 15 college degrees between all of us and couldn't get the dishwasher to start many times!). The first floor bathtub was slow to drain.

Not crazy crowded like Seaside but close enough you could walk there. The property was comfortable, but the living room furniture was worn. The primary bedroom was really the highlight of comfortable and nice. Not the cleanest place as there was popcorn and a muffin wrapper on the floor in the living room and a plastic bottle cap on the rug next to the bed in the primary when we got there. There were many little maintenance issues like a broken deadbolt and hairdryer as examples. I have never stayed in a vacation condo that had nothing to at least start you in the kitchen. Plenty of dishes, silverware , pots, equipment, etc. (though not all clean) But no supplies like salt, pepper, starter coffee service, extra trash bags or toilet paper. The online description said that you "may" need to bring some of those things, but not everything... Not real convenient for folks that fly in like we did. There were some beach chairs and toys. That was nice although at least one of the chairs smelled like puke and couldn't be used. This sounds like a bad experience. It's not. Again, the location is awesome and the condo was generally comfortable. You just need to know the shortcomings to be prepared.
