Lakefront Getaway in the NY Finger Lakes Region
Ma propriété (une maison principale et une maison d'amis) est nichée dans le pays du vin sur Loon Lake est prêt pour l'escapade parfaite pour la famille ou les amis. La maison principale dispose de trois chambres (peut accueillir jusqu'à 7 personnes), salon avec futon, manger dans la cuisine, blanchisserie sur place et la climatisation centrale. La deuxième zone, un chalet pittoresque bord de l'eau, permet une vie privée supplémentaire et possède sa propre cuisine et salle de bains. Vue imprenable, terrasse relaxante, climatisation, wifi et l'utilisation de notre quai privé et deux kayaks. À quelques minutes des parcs NYS pour faire de la randonnée ou visiter le pays du vin des lacs finger (lacs Canandaigua, Keuka ou Seneca).

You have use of the main house and the cottage which is right on the lake. The cottage has an upper and lower deck which we used daily and provided great views and a relaxing place to sit and have some cocktails. Both the house and cottage were clean, well stocked with items you need everyday and I appreciated not having to bring bath towels and bedsheets. There is a dock with plenty of space to set up chairs and fish. We used both the canoe and kayaks that are available from the host as well. Bonus for us was being able to watch eagles fly around the lake, fish and perch a few houses down. Overall a great place to stay on this beautiful quiet lake property.

The main house is nice. Had one issue shower head gasket broke shower head fell off reported to owner. The Lake was nice swimming was good lake water was clean. Fishing was good caught Pickerel,Bass ,and Perch. The hill from main house to front cottage is tough for elderly. The front cottage has no fire exit,no smoke alarms or carbon monoxide detector is not up to code and smells like mold mildew. The town inspector in Wayland was notified. Would not recommend staying in cottage ..Wnotified.encodisagaialarms or alaramain

This was a lovely location for a three generation family trip (ages 69-6). The neighborhood was beautiful and surprisingly quiet for lakefront properties. It was also an excellent location to take day trips to State Parks, wineries and other adventures. If your primary plan is swimming, the lake had significant lake grass that made swimming, and getting in and out of the water difficult (even with water shoes). While the grooming boat did come through often, the debris left behind was challenging to swim around, so we enjoyed kayaking, sunset watching and the general waterfront views instead. This did not deter from our overall trip but was not what we had expected. Communication was excellent and we would recommend property to others.

3 generations of my family stayed at the lake house for a couple of days. We had an amazing time both in the lake and on day excursions. The owner was very accommodating and provided timely answers to my questions.
