Hôtel Aiglon

A really nice hotel for the price! The staff was great, the location of the hotel was fantastic, and the room was pretty nice. They have luggage storage, which was really helpful! They also have a breakfast buffet, which seemed pretty popular (although we never tried it).

The bathroom was clean but small and clearly a little on the older side. The shower door wouldn't fully close, there were cracks on the corner of the floor, and there was a spider camped out in the corner for a few days. All minor things considering the value for the price!

The hotel was very close to a metro station which made it convenient to get to other areas in the city. It was close to restaurants and shopping. We were able to store our luggage when we arrived before checkin.

The rooms were a bit small.

The hotel is definitely away from the main sights in Paris, however, it is only 1/2 block away from the subway/metro and that can take you anywhere in minutes. I liked that there were 2 restaurants a few steps away from the entrance to the hotel. I also linked that a couple of blocks away there were many restaurants and bakeries. Great area. The room was nice and it had a mini-balcony that faced the main street off of our room. The room must have double paned windows because when we closed up for the night, it was very quite. We did not have the breakfast at the hotel, because there were so many options around the hotel that we could check out. We loved the front desk staff...they were so nice and made us feel at home.

The shower wand was a nighmare and would not stay in its holder. A few days into our 6 night stay they fixed it, but it still was not quite right. I did not like the laundry prices, so we did some of ours by hand in the room. It was just too expensive when adding it to everything else we were spending.

The proximity isn’t too bad to the city.

The people who work here are so unkind omg. They need to find another job that’s not hospitality. Also the tiny and super slow elevator!!!!
