The host was amazingly warm, welcoming, and attentive. Breakfast was great. Thoughtful extras provided like fruit, shortbread, coffee, and tea available all day, even a bottle of port with cordial glasses. The location was fantastic, walking distance to everything yet quiet. My room was as advertised and spotlessly clean. The room was available earlier and that was much appreciated. In the hall, there were additional toiletries, coffee, tea, and shortbread cookies - a nice and thoughtful touch.
Only a minor thing - the bed was creaky and not that comfortable (for me). The pillows were a bit flat for me as well. Other than that - a fantastic stay. Two suggestions: put a hook to hang the towel, next to the shower, and a shelf next to the sink for toiletries.

The location in the centre of the town and the friendly owners.
Not really the owners fault but parking outside the property at the weekend can be a bit of an issue when the town is busy.

Staff was lovely and helpful
Bit dated the rooms, especially the bathroom and not to high standards the cleanliness, bad odour in the room
