This is a terrific apartment at the top of the hill with a great view of the sea. Walk down the main street and you will arrive at the historic center with lots of restaurants and many sights. Also the beachfront which was a very nice place to walk.Claudia is an excellent host. Very quick to respond to any questions and helpful in providing a microwave that we requested. We did not have good weather for our stay, so the apartment was really appreciated as a place to relax and read, fix our own meals when it was windy and rainy. Deco is a gourmet supermarket so it was easy to purchase supplies and good food.Just one bit of advice ...Cefalu in general is on a very steep hill. If you have any physical limitations, it's a long arduous walk back up to the apt. after being in the historic center. Also, it is very difficult to park downtown so we found eating out rather hard logistically. The parking area that is available with the rental is behind the building and is in terrible shape, huge potholes, very difficult to maneuver into and out of. All in all, a nice, roomy apartment with lots of light.
