The welcoming staff, the very good value, the possibility to park the car under cover (we arrived late by night with heavy rain), the breakfast

The staff was nice and friendly. One young guy didn't speak well english so we communicated through Google. But the other knew english. The location is great..but probably depends in which room you are because there is the main road and you can hear the traffic quite good if you are on that side of the hotel. The breakfast was ok, they freshly prepare eggs with bacon. The rest is self-serving.
The hotel does need refreshment. It looks and feels exhausted. The shower almost fell apart. They probably don't have air-tubes for the toilets, that's why we heard loud bubble noises in the night...very loud.

Breakfast was included and reasonable.
We had 2 rooms, 1 was fine - could have been cleaner and have better lighting, but was ok. But the 2nd room had a disgusting odor. They didn't have another room for that night, they did spray something, which helped a bit, and promised a much better room for the next 2 nights of our stay. But there was also a terrible mechanical noise in that room that night. The upgrade the next day was much better - no smell, noise was quieter. They don't have nice, typical amenities such as a local map that you can take, the staff were ok.
