BLACK HILLS BASE CAMP! 1940s-era cabin. Sleeps 4-5 people. Walk to Canyon Lake.
Une cabane de style bungalow pittoresque, propre et mise à jour des années 1940. Excellent emplacement pour appeler le port d'attache pour toutes vos aventures à Black Hills. Des Badlands au mont Rushmore et au Crazy Horse, du parc d'État de Custer à Sturgis, vous pouvez tout voir en 30 à 45 minutes en voiture. Deux minutes à pied de Canyon Lake et Rapid Creek, où vous trouverez la pêche, le kayak et la location de pédalos. Dix minutes en voiture du centre-ville de Rapid City. Moins de 1/2 mile de la piste cyclable Rapid City, dans un quartier calme et familial, avec une cour clôturée. Dog friendly pour une somme modique de 10 $ par chien. Peut accueillir 4 adultes confortablement, 6 avec des enfants.

Charming escape to the wild west. We visited with our kids and dog. Our kids loved the western elements throughout the home. The fenced in backyard was great. It was comfortable and clean. Trails and beautiful lake a block away. The hosts had great communication and were very accommodating. The location was also really convenient as a tourist homebase.

This was a very comfortable place in a great location. The back yard was perfect for our small dog. It's close to a lot of great attractions including Mount Rushmore. We loved the way they decorated and made it feel like a small step back in time with a real western theme. We would stay there again. Quiet neighborhood.

Quaint and cozy cabin. Had everything we needed for our stay. Good location for access to Rapid City and the Black Hills.

It looks very good from the outside. Decorated really nice. But is not too efficient. The Skylight in the bathroom and the kitchen on a sunny day makes the house extremely warm. Cobwebs on the ceilings, on the fans and spider webs in the bathroom. Air conditioner is right next to the stove, which has no vent, so all the cooking smoke goes into the air conditioner and totally blocks the coils. So on a 96 day the house was 82 degrees and not very bearable. The kitchen was remodeled and the countertops were not screwed down so when you put something on it they move. The kitchen sink was not secured so when you put things around it it moves. The stove / oven had all the markings on the knobs ripped off so you couldn't tell which was all off or the temperature . And the timer didn't have a knob on it so it wasn't set right in the oven wouldn't come on . I did call the owner and he came over fairly quick and got the timer set and the knobs adjusted so I could turn on but they still had no markings on it .Overall it's a nice place but the owners are reactive to anything you call them about, but they are not proactive. The air conditioner should never have been in that condition. Who knows how much mildew and Greece we breathe in when the air conditioner was running. The price was okay if everything would have been working great. I think that for the condition it was in we were overcharged
