Room was comfortable, radiator easy to use , kettle etc avail. Nice tartan touches. Comfy single beds for sister and me.Shower room fine. Kamal particularly helpful when arriving especially with parking. Nice welcoming bar... didnt use restaurant but looked lovely.

Facade needs a lick of paint.

I was in the annex which had very poor wi fi connection and only 2 tv channels seem to connect. Also, there was a bad smell on occasions from the drains. Worst thing was that the shower door was just leaning up against another shower panel and started to fall when I touched it. I had to use my already injured arm (I have a splint on my wrist) to stop it falling and breaking against the tiled wall and it has pulled muscles and made injuries worse for me. The room should not have been let with the dangerous shower and one wonders why it was! I left in the morning and didn’t complain because I thought the hotel would already know, since the cleaning staff had left it that way, but I am angry. I won’t be returning. Also, although dogs are allowed in the room there was a note that they weren’t allowed in the restaurant so I would not be able to stay for a breakfast.
