I absolutely loved my stay at RUGS Hotel Köln! The views were amazing, and the location was perfect. It’s close to local shops and only a few minutes from Cologne’s major shopping areas, while still being in a quieter, more quaint setting. The breakfast was also great—nothing overly fancy, but exactly what you want to start your morning. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I don’t speak German, but they did their best to communicate with me, which I really appreciated. One of my favorite things was how close the hotel is to the Rhine River. The river walk is just steps away and makes for a beautiful and relaxing way to enjoy the area. I would absolutely recommend RUGS Hotel Köln to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a quieter area while still being just a short distance from everything Cologne has to offer.

Honestly, there wasn’t much I didn’t enjoy about my stay. If I had to mention anything, the hotel is a little removed from the busiest parts of central Cologne, but I actually enjoyed that because it made the area feel quieter and more relaxing.

Breakfast sparse but you get what you pay for. Some more hot options would be nice

I was visiting Rodenkirchen where the hotel is located so the location was perfect. It’s on a very quiet street and my room was newly renovated and large. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was perfect for me. So all good.

Nothing to complain about the property.

Beautiful location by the river and an outstanding staff member who was working on June 10th. Upon arrival, I was given a very dusty room. When I politely mentioned the issue, she immediately took care of it, arranged another room for me, offered to help move my belongings, and was exceptionally kind and professional throughout the entire process. Her prompt assistance and positive attitude made a big difference to my stay. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

My room was extremely dusty upon arrival and, overall, did not feel very welcoming or comfortable. The atmosphere felt rather gloomy, which made it difficult to relax. However, after I reported the issue, it was promptly changed to a clean, well-maintained, and much more pleasant room. I really appreciate how quickly the situation was resolved.
