Locality and staff

We felt very welcome and slept wonderfully because of the lovely bed. Also the breakfast was delicious! In addition, the location is great. It is a very cosy place. We enjoyed it!

Sometimes some noises from the garden/outside, but fortunately this did not keep us awake.

Room was neat and clean and very cosy for a rainy and cold winters night in Cape Town. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast hours and service received from Rachel in the breakfast room You have to ask for glasses for the juice and there is no utensil to pick up the fruit from the serving dish .I had to use my hands for this . Only bulgarian/non flavored yogurt available . You have to ask for coffee and if you do that 1 minute after 10h00 you are informed that the kitchen closed at 10h00. Gas fireplace is switched off at 10h00 sharp ,even though you are still busy finishing your breakfast . Over a weekend when you are there to relax ,breakfast is only served until 10h00 No orders 1 minute after 10h00 . At 10h00 everything is carried out of the breakfast room . So do not book in this hotel for a relaxing weekend You will have to get up early to accommodate there ridiculous breakfast hours .
