Lake Pichola Hotel

The property is beautifully decorated in a traditional style. The views were truly spectacular.

The interior of the rooms needs a little bit of work.

The location, the staff - the staff especially demonstrated excellent rajasthani culture, live flute music in the morning was amazing, the lake view was ethereal.

The property had beautiful views over the lake, and the staff were friendly and helpful

We booked a room without a lake view, and were put in quite a scruffy, dingy room at the back of the property that looked nothing like the photos. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the walls were paper thin. Since we were next to a busy road, we were kept awake for much of the night by dogs and cars. Our balcony was also helpfully blocked off by a large, rigid curtain (photo attached). We felt that the value for money here was pretty poor and that we were mostly paying for access to the (very beautiful) lake views. We’d recommend booking a nicer hotel further from the lake and just visiting for the views.
