Amphora Guesthouse

We had another wonderful stay at Amphora Guesthouse. We stayed here last year as well and enjoyed it so much that we deliberately chose to come back again this year. Fredrika and Oresti are incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. When we had a flat tyre on our rental car, Oresti even came with us to a local garage to help us get it fixed. That really shows how caring and involved they are with their guests. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a truly beautiful setting with an amazing view. Fredrika and Oresti also know the area extremely well and gave us great tips for special places and restaurants, from Tirana all the way to Gjirokastër. Thanks to them, we discovered places we probably would never have found on our own. We enjoyed our stay so much that, towards the end of our holiday, we decided to extend our trip by another week. Fredrika and Oresti were once again incredibly flexible and welcoming. What makes Amphora Guesthouse especially unique is that it gives you a real glimpse into the traditional Albanian way of life. It feels personal, authentic and far away from mass tourism. We can highly recommend Amphora Guesthouse to anyone visiting this part of Albania. For us, it already feels a little like coming home. We will definitely be back

Calme et reposant, belle vue, excentré du gros afflux touristique de la ville en contrebas, les hôtes très sympathiques, le petit déjeuner copieux, literie de qualité. C’était parfait.

Communication is excellent, it helps a lot. Federika is on the top of everything in her business. Very flexible and accommodating. Nice sunsets and sunrises. Very easy drive to a parking spot. It is not driving to Upper Qeparo. On Sunday there were not many parking spots left, but on weekdays - very plentiful. Kitchenette is a plus. We made our coffee and breakfast. Aesthetically pleasant accommodation and would book again! PS: I made rosemary and lemon jam! Thank you very much for your advice!
