Une magnifique grange en pierre indépendante, convertie, située dans une position rurale idyllique au bord du parc national de Peak District, dans le paisible village de Warslow. Entouré d'une belle campagne, le Town End Barn se trouve dans de jolis jardins et offre une vue magnifique sur la grotte de Thor et la vallée de Manifold. Récemment rénové, avec de charmants planchers en bois et un poêle à bois confortable dans le foyer en pierre du salon, cet hébergement spacieux et confortable fait un fantastique refuge romantique. D'excellents sentiers de marche et de vélo sont disponibles sur le pas de la porte, tandis que le pub local est à 10 minutes à pied. Dovedale, avec sa célèbre rivière Dove, réputée comme l'une des plus belles rivières de la région de Peak, est à une courte distance en voiture.

We had a lovely 3 night break at Michelle's barn. The children (10 and 6) especially loved the outside space, Michelle was very kind in entertaining them with her wonderful green men(!), and was on hand in case we needed anything. The barn was very well stocked and super clean. The chocolate eggs, homemade jam, milk, and garden cuttings on arrival made us feel very welcome. Thank you Michelle!

Town end barn is a lovely holiday cottage. It is in a small village that is perfect for exploring the Manifold Valley and the hills of the southern peak district. The barn is clean, spacious and great for families. The setting is wonderful and we’d love to come back when the weather is warmer! Overall, a great stay. Thanks.

The cottage was beautiful and quirky. The upstairs living area, where we spent most our time, was spacious and clean. The sofa’s were really comfortable and the room felt warm (especially when we put the log burner on). Michelle, the host was really welcoming. She gave us great instructions upon arriving and was on hand for our whole trip (she just lives a 20 second walk away). We were a little noisy, especially at night, but it was fine because the cottage was remote. Top tip: when finding the cottage using the sat nav or google maps, search the whole address that Michelle sends, not just the postcode or you’ll be wondering around for 20 minutes with no cell reception like me.
