All the staff I met were friendly and efficient. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and everything worked. The food I had was good.
The hotel has a slightly run-down air about it. For example, a clock innthe reception area is stuck on at 4.15. I object to having to pay £2 to park overnight. Bizarrely, my bedroom was decorated with a large mural of elephants in the African savanna. In Perth, Scotland? The furniture is a bit of a mish-mash of old and new. The eating area is in the bar and there is no escape from the huge TV screen on which football was being shown.
