Aerotel Muscat - Airport Transit Hotel

Rooms are spacious and very clean, set up perfectly for those who want a quiet place to rest between flights.

Room size, comfort, quietness, decent room service meal, good staff.

If you are coming from international flight then you should not have your luggage checked in because if you collect the luggage then you have to exit and then re enter for accessing this hotel which is in the transit area behind immigration, irrespective of you are travelling international or domestic there will be an immigration check and if the transit time is more than 08 hours then they might not let you in to access the hotel so lesson learned take transit access and do not exit. Room keys never work this is a kind of control they have on guests, so every time when one exit the room for duty free or a meal one needs to come to reception to ask a staff to open room door.

We have nothing to compare, because this is the only option inside the airport. The good thing is they have a restaurant and the food is okay for airports and from the minimal interaction that I had with them. They were good. Soundproofing is great.

Very expensive for the facilities. I think there should be one more option so the travellers can decide whom to go with. The room service didn’t pickup the phone. Had to go to the restaurant
