The host was very friendly and quirky! Told us lots of places to visit and a very nice walk. Continental breakfast was great-chocolate croissants for us! freshly made coffee and lots of cereal to choose from. Toast and preserves also on offer.
Nothing not to like. Had full use of living room (although we were too busy to use it)

Paul, the host, is a great guy. He works alone with no help. He tries his utmost to make his guests feel very much at home. He will go out of his way to make sure that you're happy.
A continental breakfast is served, but if you want anything a bit different from croissants, he will try to accommodate.
His knowledge of the area is very beneficial, especially if you're staying for a good few days, he will tell you the history and how to get there by foot or car. If you have time, take a walk along the BREAD TRACK. You may be lucky to see kingfishers and even an otter. It will eventually take you to the back of the high walls of the castle. A beautiful walk, NOT to be missed.
He has great stories to tell you of his colourful life 😀
The house is very old and dates back to Georgian times, so expect the wanky and creaking floors.
The bedroom is more than adequate, in fact, the bed is the best that I've slept in apart from my own, with a feather duvet.
It has a decent sized fridge and plenty of drink choices, with a jug of fresh milk....
The whole house is very quirky. It certainly didn't put us off as we will definitely stay again, it has so much character.

Uniqueness, quirky and interesting decor.
We felt at home with Paul and had a great conversation over breakfast.
Great location out of the bustle of the town centre

Paul went out of his way to get the right breakfast supplies in for me.
The place is quirky, unusual and tiny(just one B+B room, I think) Paul is very welcoming though if you wanted to be left alone you might find it a bit much!
Bedroom was a little cramped but very comfortable
Nothing.
