Charming and comfortable apartment in the most characteristic part of Trastevere
Appartement charmant et romantique dans un bel immeuble ancien avec vue sur la magnifique place Mercanti, au coeur du Trastevere. Le sol en terre cuite, le plafond lambrissé et le mobilier typique rendent l'appartement unique sans renoncer au confort moderne. Une grande chambre avec un grand lit king size, deux salles de bain (une avec douche et une avec baignoire), un charmant salon avec cheminée, une salle à manger confortable pour dîner en famille ou entre amis, une cuisine entièrement équipée pour préparer tout ce que vous voulez ... Essayez votre expérience. Dans la terre du pittoresque Trastevere, près du Tibre ... Emplacement parfait pour visiter et vivre Rome à pied, à vélo ou en bus.

The apartment was spacious and lovely. It was in a GREAT location in Trastevere, close to lots of restaurants and the Tiber river, and just across from another fun neighborhood, Testaccio. From there, we walked almost everywhere in Rome, no need for taxi's or Ubers. Although the little piazza where the apartment was located was lively during the day, it was very quiet at night, which I loved! And although it's in a beautiful old, classic building, there was an elevator - something that's hard to find in Rome - which made getting the luggage up and down a lot easier. The owner, Antonella, also arranged a car for me to and from the airport which made getting there a breeze. The kitchen was small, but clean and functional. My one tiny complaint would be that the cooking pans, utensils, etc were a little sparse and the knives could hardly cut through butter, so if you're planning on cooking while you're there, keep that in mind. Other than that, Antonella was a great host and we loved our stay!

We had a wonderful stay in one of Rome's most charming and lively areas. the neighborhood is filled with restaurants and interesting shops (not the typical boring big brands). The apartment feels like a real home, filled with charming antiques, comfortable seating areas and a very comfy bed. Our host could not have been more charming and helpful. On short notice Antonelli found us a fabulous and knowledgeable guide for a wonderful tour of the Vatican, and her restaurant recommendations were spot on. It should be noted that the apartment is located directly above a lively and sometimes noisy restaurant, but we found that they quieted down by about 11:00 PM every night of our stay, and did not interfere with our sleep or our enjoyment of the apartment. overall we were very well pleased and would recommend this apartment to others.

The apartment in Trastevere was everything we had hoped for. Quaint, charming, and romantic, it placed us right in the heart of authentic Roman living. Antonella, our host, made us feel so comfortable, we never thought about anything other than enjoying Rome. This apartment and this host get our highest recommendation possible. We spent the perfect vacation in Rome, and Antonella played a big part in making it so memorable.
