Die Ausstattung der Villa ist außergewöhnlich.

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt in der Villa Hawk und können sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Aufteilung der Räume ist durchdacht und ideal, auch für größere Gruppen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den freundlichen Empfang sowie die jederzeit sehr gute Erreichbarkeit der Verwalterin. Bei Fragen wurde uns schnell und unkompliziert geholfen – ein wirklich erstklassiger Service. Die Villa Hawk liegt sehr ruhig, was wir sehr genossen haben. Ein Auto ist allerdings unbedingt erforderlich. Die Anfahrt vom Flughafen war im Dunkeln mit einem 9-Sitzer zunächst etwas abenteuerlich, letztlich aber problemlos machbar. Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt für das Nötigste. Da die Villa eher zentral im Inselinneren liegt, sollte man für Ausflüge zu den Stränden und den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten meist mindestens 45 Minuten Fahrzeit einplanen. Uns hat das nicht gestört, da wir viel von der Insel sehen wollten. Den Grill haben wir häufig genutzt und schöne Abende auf der Terrasse verbracht. Als kleine Anregung wäre ein Pizzaheber für den vorhandenen Pizzaofen noch eine tolle Ergänzung. Alles in allem eine fantastische Villa mit hervorragendem Service. Wer sich der ruhigen Lage und der damit verbundenen Fahrzeiten bewusst ist, wird hier einen wunderbaren Urlaub verbringen.

Amazing Villa in the mountain. Peace, cleanness, everything you need for your state. Highly recommended.

The house is about 800m above sea level in a remote, small mountain village without mass tourism. It has 2 floors and has been renovated and technically brought up to date. All doors and windows are equipped with roller or folding shutters and fly blinds. The upper floor can be reached via an external staircase. It can be locked separately. There is a bedroom, a shower room and a roof terrace with a fantastic view of the wide landscape and the mountains. All rooms on the ground floor have doors to the outside area. Here is the breakfast terrace under 2 trees (orange+lemon) and the pool with plenty of loungers and parasols. To the side of the house is another seating area with a large grill area (with pizza oven). There is a playground for children behind the house. Two cars can be parked on the site enclosed by a wall. The house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. In all living rooms and bedrooms there is an air condition, a television set and emergency lighting, which, however, also glow at reduced intensity at night. As an orientation light in the bedrooms, however, it is a bit too bright and can be disturbing. The three bedrooms each have their own bathroom with shower. Only in the large bedroom on the ground floor there is a twin bed (2 x 100x200 cm). The other bedrooms have French beds (160x200 cm; continuous mattress). The kitchen is well equipped. There are many dishes - the dishwasher really makes sense. There is a washing machine as well as all consumables (tabs for washing machine+dishwasher, toilet paper, kitchen roll, etc.). If something was missing, the housekeeper or the administration took care of it in a short time. There is a fireplace in the living room and in the upper bedroom. WiFi in all rooms at good speed. The village is small, but 200m away there is an excellent tavern with very varied Cretan cuisine. In the small supermarket (400m away) you can get almost everything you need. A car with fresh bread drives past the house every day.

Unfortunately the pool is not heated. Space for a thermal solar system for pool heating would be available.
