Quiet, beautiful property to enjoy, great location to all cities via car or train. But, mostly, the hosts were wonderful! We hope to go back. Highly recommend.

Hans and his wife are incredibly gracious hosts and provided an excellent start to our journey! Unpresidented beauty surrounds you in all directions. The location added ease of travel to multiple destinations both touristy and free will to roam and explore. Very friendly town folk and business owners throughout the area. Be sure to stop by De Rijk Zuivel, the little family dairy right down the lane, for some ice cream, phenomenal cheeses or other goodies they make right there! Tell Steven and Ageline that Chad the farmer sent you. Ask Hans about the windmill. He has so much pride in it and rightfully so! Being a stuart of the mill is a generational family tradition. It is an absolute work of ingenuity and art. Fully functioning, it retains a vital role in water level control in the surrounding canals. By far the most beautiful mill we saw on our entire stay in the Netherlands, and we saw dozens. We cannot thank you enough for helping to make our trip so special. Everything combined was truly a magical experience for us. I hope we are able to return again in the future. Or at the very least, have our paths cross again some day. Be well our new friends. The cottage had everything you would need to have a great stay. The bakery and supermarket in easy access. The bike routes from the cottage are perfect. Would come again.

Wow!!!! We love this place!! Hans and his wife and son are wonderful hosts. The cabin is sparkling clean and wonderful. For US users: king size bed upstairs, with optional twin next to the king in the same room. The “box bed” downstairs is a queen size below, and on top would be good for a small child. It does have a mattress on top but it’s under the sloping roof. It was wonderful for us. We didn’t need it but I’m sure the AC both upstairs and downstairs would be wonderful in summer. The views out over the polders landscape are incredible. The view of the windmill is fantastic. The bikes he rented to us worked great to get into town and we felt like we belonged:). 30-35 min to TheHague. 25 min to Schiphol. Thank you Hans!! I hope we can come back.
