Our family of 4 adults greatly enjoyed our stay at Valeria's Villa. The pool is brilliant - large enough to swim in and deep enough at one end to happily jump in. The house has a large verandah around the outside which is cool throughout the day - with tables and chairs for eating out and a tennis table for polishing your game. There is a large and pleasant garden with shade from trees and lots of privacy.Francesco met us at the villa after we had driven down from the airport, and his daughter Valeria with fluent English was at the end of a phone when our elementary Italian and Google translate did not work! We were made most welcome, and every question we had was answered. The only small glitch was identifying which villa it is, when we arrived at 11pm and the name is very small on a very small plaque set at head height on the right hand side of a large steel double gate. The villa is well situated to explore Eastern Sicily - and by getting up early, it is possible to drive north to the base of Mount Etna for a tour guide of the volcano. Syracuse is interesting and the island of Ortigia is fascinating - full of history. There is a very large Coop in nearby Floridia which provided for all of our needs. Thankyou for a great stay

We stayed at the villa for two weeks for a family holiday (2 adults and three children). The villa was great! Amazing and well-kept garden with a huge swimming pool! The villa is situated outside Floridia (approx 5-10 min drive) where there are shops and supermarkets. It was close by car to several great places to visit, Syracuse, Noto, Avola, Ragusa, Marzamemi, and our favorite beach in South Sicily Spiaggia Carratois. All these within 20-60 min drive. Since it is close to access the E45 we also managed a day trip to Etna and Taormina. The house was clean and good size, nicer in real life than in pictures. A great shaded patio with seating and a ping-pong table! AC in all indoor rooms which was nice during nights. Two bedrooms with double bed and one with a bunk bed. The owners were easy to reach before and during our stay! There was water and some treats on our arrival and we were treated some pastries for our last breakfast. Good Wi-Fi! A lovely stay and would recommend the villa to others!

Villa is exactly as shown in the pictures. The garden is completely enclosed and private, the pool is a great size with proper shallow and deep ends and Francesco keeps it very clean. The villa has a huge covered veranda which provides welcome shade and also a table tennis table. The air conditioning in the bedroom area was welcome at night. Although his English is rusty Francesco was very helpful taking my husband on a guided tour of Floridia to show him where the supermarkets, bars and restaurant were. He also provided home grown oranges, lemons and limes during our stay and managed to give advice on where to visit. If you like a villa with a great pool and outdoor space in a peaceful rural location then this is the one for you.
