This little stone villa is delightful! We loved our hostKalami location (NE corner Corfu)! There are other villas & a beautiful communal pool on property, all overlooking Kalami Bay. Corfu Town is a nice place to visit, but WAY too crowded, hot & bustling for our tastes, & only a short 50 min drive south. You do need a car. The villa itself is gorgeous, clean & well stocked - all items are new & in working order, w/ a cleaning lady who appeared mid-stay to change sheetstowels! This was much appreciated, as I was ill, w/ night sweats, & thus clean sheets were a God's send! Our villa host, was fabulous, caring & loving, & was there if/when we needed anything, e.g. how to work laundry machine & dishwasher (w/ instructions in either Greek or German :)). W/ a WhatApps message, in literal minutes, our host was knocking on our door! The villa is stocked w/ loads of "welcome snacks" & a bottle of Prosecco in fridge! The villa is also stocked w/ shampoo, actual conditioner (a rarity!), salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sugar for coffee, basic spices, & in fridge there was a large bottle each of still & sparkling water, tonic water, & milk for coffee. Our host also supplied Nespresso pods, along w/ extra garbage bagsplenty of toilet tissue (which shockingly has not been our experience!). Our host provided everything, & then some!! We are 1/2 way thru our 2 month Ionian adventure, & this stay @ Paleopetres stands out - Outstanding! Well done! And thank you for your care!!

Nicely appointed room; pool and view excellent; quiet and relaxed. Communication with Joanne was excellent. Location is ideal for walking to Kalami and Kouloura with its restaurants and beaches; Agni, Kerasia and San Stefano further on if you fancy a scenic walk

We loved everything about our stay in this sweet stone cottage. Everything was clean and comfortable and the views from our bedroom, the deck and the pool were wonderful. The village and beach is just a short walk down the stone path and steps and we found everything we needed and nice restaurants. Our host was so helpful with suggestions, quick responses and a wonderful basket of snacks. We would definitely come back for another stay and for the textures and aromas of rosemary and lavender that grow so beautifully along the walls and paths. It is lovely.

This was our first visit to Kalami and our second to Corfu. We had the most amazing weeks stay at the Stone House. This villa had all we needed to make this a relaxing and peaceful stay. It was very private and you get a fantastic view from the balcony down to the bay of Kalami. If you want something a little different this is for you..This resort has only nine apartments and is well maintained, the pool area is quiet with many parasols and sun loungers and the surrounding grounds are tidy and clean. All the information we required prior to our arrival was very helpful and we were surprised by a fantastic welcome pack from Joanne the owner. We had maid service twice during our stay and we were provided with fresh towels on each visit.The location to Kalami and surrounding bays was very good. The local restaurants are an easy walk from our villa and if you want a longer walk you can reach Kouloura to the North by foot on the coastal path and eat at the taverna overlooking the harbour or South to Agni and its fantastic seafood restaurants. Joanne recommended several restaurants to eat in and we were not disappointed. I would also recommend hiring a boat for the day, it was great to be able to visit other bays for swimming and snorkeling.We enjoyed our stay immensely.
