Location was fantastic. Right next to a corner of the castle park, in amongst cafes and restaurants. Spacious. Staff extremely responsive to an issue with a faulty lightbulb.
A little tired with patching on some doors/walls. No where to hang clothes in front bedroom but plenty of space for a portable hanging gadget.
Would be good to have more than one key for property so tenants can go out/return separately.

Location perfect for all the things to do. 5 min walk to Kanazawa Castle and gardens. 15 min walk to train station and FORUS mall.
Location and amenities for family to have space to come together.

We loved the space and traditional feel of this house. It was easy to spread out and relax on comfortable tatami mats after a day of walking! A supermarket, shops and restaurants are all nearby - we recommend Otas Cafe for coffee and breakfast. The beautiful Kenrokuen Gardens are a 15-20 minute walk away, so the house is well-located for tourists. Note that you need to visit an office nearby the train station for check-in and keys.
The TV needs upgrading to allow for streaming of apps! Currently, the TV only allows for standard Japanese channels. The stairs to the first floor are quite steep and could be an issue for guests with mobility issues. Also, the house would benefit from a washing machine (a pretty standard feature for a property of this size).
