It was a very welcoming home in a remote location close to so many fun things to do

The house was perfect for our stay. Everything was clean and exactly as described. Fully stocked, it had everything we needed. The kids spent hours playing in the creek. Only a 10-15 minute drive for groceries and supplies, but still felt very quiet and secluded. I'd definitely stay here again, the kids are already asking to come back next year.

Beautiful spot! And weather was great too!

Each summer, my mother, my three sisters, and 2 of our daughters (7 & 27) spend a girls weekend together. One sister and her young daughter were not able to come at the last minute - and that was a bummer. The 7 year old would have loved the room to run, the play set, the gazebo, the loft bedroom, the clear and sandy bottomed river. The river was perfect for wading in and cooling off. It was kneed deep on the adults. I think our little would have been able to use a floaty. It is so pretty and private down by the river that you feel a million miles from anywhere - but downtown Cadillac is 15 minutes away!! My favorite are was by the fire pit. We had brought side tables, but those were already there with the beautiful Adirondack chairs. The stone work is beautiful and it is the perfect place to enjoy a fire. We had also brought kindling - but that was already there, too!We all thoroughly enjoyed a really relaxing stay!
