Casa Pamela

Alba, unsere Gastgeberin der Casa Pamela ist in jeder Beziehung außergewöhnlich freundlich, extrem hilfsbereit und 100% auf das Wohl der Gäste bedacht.Für die Anreise und für Gastrotipps hatte sie extra Videos erstellt. Morgens überraschte sie uns mit absolut köstlichen selbstgebackenem Kuchen und Obst. Da unser Gepäck auf der Flugverbindung "verloren ging" telefonierte sie unablässig zur Nachverfolgung. Die Unterkunft selbst ist wunderbar ( sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet mit mehr, als man erwarten kann und ganz privat) Der Weg zur Unterkunft führt über Treppen, typisch für Capri. Die private Sonnenterrasse mit Sonnenliegen und atemberaubendem Blick ist allerdings nicht für Menschen mit Treppen/Höhenangst geeignet...aber auch ohne Nutzung dieser "Stairs to Heaven" ist die Casa Pamela ein Paradies..perfekt für entspannte Tage im quirligen Capri...Luxus der im sonst extrempreisigen Capri bezahlbar bleibt. Wir werden die Erinnerung noch lange behalten und danken Alba aufs Allerherzlichste. ABSOLUTE EMPFEHLUNG

The accomodation is a truly lovely B&B, immaculately clean, everything you need for a short trip, literally on the door step of Marina Grande, easy to reach Anacapri & Capri. The owner (Alba) is very accommodating, she really does make your stay perfect, easy contactable & ensures you have everything you need. She has made a wonderful job of the property, we loved it, the beautiful terrace, the whole place is stunning! The home made cake delivered to the table on the terrace was a lovely touch, thank you Alba, it was delicious! If you are planning to be on Capri for a short stay, book Alba's place, you will not regret it. We will definitely visit again

The proximity to the port, the funicular, the shops gives it a big plus. Also, the room and the bathroom are large, clean. Alba sent us a lot of information regarding the accommodation. It has a small terrace, with table and chairs. Before arrival she asked us if we would like to offer us a fruit or a cake made by her. We opted for the cake, a gesture that we appreciated.

What we didn't like? For example, the funicular that passes right above you (you can find earplugs on the bedside table, we didn't use them). What we found in the bathroom I don't think they call "free toiletries". It was toilet paper, for washing hands I found a mini soap, and for the shower I think the two outdated sachets (from different manufacturers) are confusing. Maybe there are people who don't bring their own gel and shampoo. If only one person wants to leave the house, you automatically leave the other person without electricity because it has a system for activating the electricity, attached to the key. If I were a stingy person, I would definitely activate the electricity that way too. I'm just not like that. What is offered in the box at the door is not really called "Breakfast": a packet of biscuits, a few mini croissants, bought in bulk, a few boxes of jams, a few slices of toast, a few boxes of Nutella. We call "coffee" two capsules (of poor quality)/day/person, basically 2-3 mouthfuls of coffee at the bottom of the cup. It was nice to find at least a bottle of water on the house. We were told that we had in the fridge (which was noisy) milk (a small bottle, enough for the "coffee" we were entitled to) and yogurt. Basically, on the first day there was one mini yogurt for two people, most likely left by other guests. On the second morning we received two pieces. On the first day, Alba offered us half a glass of fresh orange juice each, on the second, she punished us. Conclusion: "Breakfast" is a bad joke. Even with Italian law, if you want, you have many options. I advise you to improve this aspect. We invite you to Romania to experience our hospitality! :) Also, I have just now read other comments, in which you have some nasty remarks about some people who put a lot of money in your pocket.
