Very clean and spacious, bigger rooms than we had imagined from the photos but it was not cold overnight. Very comfortable beds and lots of room to relax as a group. Would highly recommend as a place to stay!

We needed to buy some essentials during our stay, hand soap dishwasher tablets and toilet paper, which we would have expected to find there. The kitchen is very functional but not fully stocked with crockery and glassware, hopefully they can add some more wine glasses and cereal bowls etc for the next guests. This being said, as a group of 5 we managed with what was there. It is at the bottom of a hill so my mum had some trouble but there is a bus stop very close by that has easy access into Edinburgh.

It’s a fabulous property that looks amazing in the photos. But in reality it is missing something. The huge rooms were happily cool during the heatwave. Nice style with potential to be amazing with a bit more attention to detail.

The kitchen utensils could have been cleaner. Note there is only one shower. Oddly there was no soap anywhere until I searched and found some in a store cupboard. No shampoo. Minimal toilet rolls. No tea/coffee provided. It’s missing the small details and personal touches that makes a property feel welcoming. Also the basement bathroom has the shower and the drains smell awfully of sewage so we had to keep that door closed to prevent the whole house smelling like that.

Very comfortable and spacious. Surrounded by lovely restaurants.

No arrival instructions emailed in advance and it’s difficult to find without a house number provided! Also the key box was so hidden we had to call Booking.com at 11pm (our arrival time). It was a stressful start. There was an intermittent smell throughout our stay, the apartment was cold and there were no instructions how to turn on the heating so we had to ring the agent and they sent someone round but we were freezing on our 1st night.and slept with jumpers on. There was limited toilet roll provided and no teabags. You’ll be pleased to know we left a full box of teabags for the next guests so they could at least have a welcome drink! Note that the 3rd bedroom is in the basement and whilst very well appointed it didn’t suit our needs.
