Rákóczi Guesthouse Miskolc

Garden is magical.

Very spacious 2 rooms + kitchen with a lot of space for 4 persons or even 5 For cooking it was ok and enough and it is well located - easy to go with public transport and a car.

Lovely old apartment brought up to modern standards.

location, parking options

Disappointing. I booked a 1-bedroom apartment (28 m²) which was supposed to include a separate bedroom and a living room with a sofa. I retrieved the keys from locker no. 2, but unit no. 2 turned out to be a 20 m² room containing a large bed and a small dining area—there was no separate bedroom or living room. Consequently, the room did not match the booking; the larger size was a crucial factor in our decision to book. Communicating with the owner via messages was difficult because their English was insufficient. The booking stated that pets were allowed, but there was no mention that an additional fee of 2,000 F would apply—this information only appeared on an information board inside the room. As a foreigner, it was impossible to find a place to exchange currency at 8 PM. Information regarding potential extra charges for pets should be made available before booking—which was not the case here—and even if it had been possible to exchange money, there was no one to pay, as the owner was not on-site. I do not recommend this accommodation.
