Erkan at the reception was very friendly, helpful and kind. Coffee and water were for free all the day. I highly recommend this hotel. Very clean, great price and location.

The location is perfect — around 2 minutes’ walk from Istiklal Street and less than a minute from the main street. But the real highlight of this hotel is Sayyed. He deserves much more than 10/10. Always smiling, calm, respectful, professional and genuinely trying to help. Every time there was an issue, he immediately tried to find a solution and never made us feel like we were bothering him. Even when something was outside his control, he did everything he could to support us. He knows how to handle guests, calm difficult situations and make people feel cared for. Honestly, Sayyed was the main reason we overlooked many of the problems and completed our stay. Management should really appreciate him — he is an absolute asset to the hotel.

For the price we paid, we were not expecting a luxury resort, and we were completely realistic about that. However, there is a difference between luxury and basic comfort. A functional mattress, a working toilet and a reasonably comfortable room are basics that any guest should be able to expect regardless of the price. We had a broken mattress for all 3 nights. We asked for it to be changed, but unfortunately nothing was done. Technical problems can happen, including water issues, but spending a full night without a working toilet flush is not acceptable. The Superior Double Room is extremely small — even your luggage barely fits comfortably, and the word “Superior” gives expectations that are simply not met. It is also noisy for light sleepers because there is a pub directly under the windows that stays open late. Also, if you arrive before check-in, keep in mind that there is no restaurant, café, or proper waiting area — only three sofas at reception. We arrived at around 5:00 AM as a group of five, and there was simply nowhere for all of us to sit comfortably. Since almost nothing nearby was open at that hour and we had been travelling without sleep, we eventually had to book another hotel for a few hours just to rest until check-in time.
