Lake View Home Walking Distance to Town and Vin du Lac Winery
Grande maison de style rambler avec vue sur le lac. Moins d'un mile de la ville sur le nouveau sentier multi-usages. Adjacent à Vin du Lac Winery & Bistro, si pratique pour la dégustation de vins et de restaurants. Plus vieille, mais bien entretenue. Chambre à coucher principale du roi; une grande chambre à coucher de la reine; et une chambre double queen (lits séparés par un mur et un rideau). Maître et doubles chambres à coucher ont leur propre salle de bain. Le bain principal est adjacent à la chambre à coucher de la reine. Couchage 4 couples très confortablement, mais est également un petit canapé pliant ainsi qu'un grand sous-sol avec un autre lit queen et beaucoup de place pour les lits des enfants. Cadre agréable avec grande pelouse pour pique-niquer et barbecue, entouré par l'aménagement paysager mature et le jardin de la production de la cave.

Tons of space for my big family and my daughter’s friends. Just moments away from everything in town. It was great. Little hard to find at night with Waze and Apple Maps but once we were in, everything else was easy. Check in and check out was nothing to it, sign the form and follow the rules. Fast Wi-fi too. Kitchen has everything you need and then some. Even got some laundry done

The house was clean, but definitely has wear and tear. In a couple of the rooms the carpeting was coming up along the tack strips, so could be a safety hazard for small children. The carpet in the dining room area had spots in various places, probably spilled food or liquid from previous visitors. While there were 3 bathrooms, there was only one full bathroom. The other two bathrooms had small showers with a toilet. For the master bedroom, the sink was in the bedroom and not in the bathroom. The kitchen was large and had a variety of dishes, appliances, pots, pans and so on. There was also a large dining room table. If you are interested in walking into town, there was a nice walking path and it takes around 20 - 30 minutes to do so. Overall, the house worked well for what we were doing.

Great location- the sidewalk trail into town is across the street and is not that far to town if you don’t mind walking..everything is close..the grocery store, bowling alley and Don Morse Park which has a great beach area. The Vin Du Lac winery entrance is also across the street. The house itself is a little 70’s but a nice home with lots of room. No home directly next door so there was lots of room outside. We are usually campers but could not get a spot so this was our first time doing this and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The whole process was very easy including the host. We will definitely be renting this home again.

This vacation rental was an enigma. An oasis surrounded by new construction projects. The house had plenty of room with a nice view of Lake Chelan, and located close to Chelan. We spent most our time hiking the local trails. The main downside was the location next to Hwy 150, which was 20' from the bedrooms. Construction vehicles could be heard from 6am to 8pm - dump trucks, cement trucks, loud motorcycles, etc. Hard to sleep. My advice - pay the extra money for a quieter location.
The host was very friendly and helpful, but the interior of the home was in need of updating - burned out light bulbs, carpeting coming up at seams, small bathrooms with wall to wall carpeting. For $330/ night probably too much, but considering location @ Lake Chelan, not bad compared to other rentals.
