Very nice and clean. Lovely room with a nice view. It has a nice onsen and it’s not even a minute walk from the station.

The pillows/mattress could me a bit better, but that’s the only thing that comes to mind when thinking about a less good thing.

Nice location, nearby the tonzan line. The rooms were spacious, clean, beds were comfy, nothing to complain. The staff spoke english very well.

We loved the bunk beds and the Onsen was beautiful. The hotel is perfectly located to do the Hakone loop. The buffet breakfast was also great!

This in no way affected our stay but something that could be improved it if the reception staff were a bit more engaged, friendly and informative. Also the restaurant for dinner was lovely but the menu could have been less fusion. A Simple, tasty menu that was a bit more family friendly would have fitted in better with the style of the hotel.

Rooms were very quiet and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Excellent location. Dinner in restaurant was lovely.

We stayed in a suite and it was very big but design-wise wasn’t very practical for a family. The only sink was in the bathroom so to fill up water or kettle required you to either do in bathroom sink or leave the room to a kitchenette on the floor. Nowhere to hang up clothes or unpack. We stayed for three nights and I don’t think this is normal as they seem to be set up for single nights. Despite the high cost, there was no room refresh in that time. You could get fresh towels. The onsen was nice but tiny. Breakfast was ok but three days of the same wasn’t great. They seemed to have lots of rules (eg can only have a boiled egg if you’re a vegetarian, can only all check in at 3, not when rooms are ready) and one of those stays that felt annoying rather than generous and warm. Maybe it was just because our previous hotel was so welcoming and generous with servicing etc that tainted our experience.
