We've had a lovely week staying at Casa Ceppi - Giovanni and Manuela were perfect hosts. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and the house itself was comfortable and very well equipped. There is also an excellent local restaurant to sample .

Location is out in the country but an easy drive to Volterra, San Gimignano and beyond. Property is very well maintained and the hosts are lovely people.

The accomodation at Montegabbro allowed us a vacancy both within a calm, natural environment at the end of a small road and nearness to major sights in Tuscanny, such as San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Firenze etc.. The perfectly equipped house features everything we needed, from airconditioned (cooling/warming) living- & bedrooms unto WiFi, Flat-TV (italian progs) etc.etc.. The owners were near and supported in any question.
Some hints: For going to FIRENZE we recommend the bus from Colle Val d'Elsa. WINTERTIRES officially required unto mid/end April. SUPERMARKETS in Colle V.d.E & Poggibonsi.
Don't miss old town of Colle V.d.E. ('alto'), Certaldo ('alto') with Funiculare, Monteriggioni, Abbazia d'Isola, Abbazia di Sant'Antimo SW of Montalcino.
Special tip: Volcanism (Fumaroles, Solfatars etc.) 75 minutes/65km south at Monterotondo at 'Geothermal Natural Park Biancane'!
