Lance Aux Epines Cottages

The location was outstanding, especially easy with kids, being steps away from the beach and with a great restaurant right there. The staff went out of their way to support us, including boiling binkies they found laying around the unit! The main area was open air but screened in, so you could listen to the ocean and even watch the thunderstorm that rolled through. But they AC in the rooms was heavenly. The kitchen was well appointed.

Only that there was no Aircon in the living area, but I understand why not

The location, the cottage facilities, the spacious rooms, the wildlife and flowers. The restaurant also serves great food and cocktails. Cool air-conditioned bedroom.

The living area could get quite warm with only a fan but encouraged us to go out in the day time, enjoy the beach location. There were slightly limited beach front sunbeds. You have to get taxis everywhere as not really suitable to walk on a main road without paths and very dark after 6pm.

The location is fabulous, right on a beautiful little beach. It's very quiet but if you don't have a car, there are good restaurants within walking distance and a little supermarket to buy essentials. It's a very safe area and not a problem to walk home in the dark. We walked to local restaurants and back around 9pm without any problem. The resort itself is extremely quiet and has lots of areas for guests to spread out on sunbeams, hammocks etc. Tables and chairs to eat outside too. All the staff are fantastic and any small problems with air con etc are sorted immediately.
