Avis vérifiés à 100 %8 / 10Excellent·oct. 2026
Remote location, perfect for nature lovers, and Hadrian's Wall visitors, but also perfectly situated for Hallington Mill Wedding Venue, and Hexham.
The room was comfy and clean, with a good shower. The rooms do not have any locks or keys, but the type of clientele means it is safe to leave belongings in an unlocked room.
Carolyn is an excellent host, interested in your trip, and easy to chat with.
Breakfast is a great mix of a fresh cooked eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms and tomato, plus as much toast, fruit, and cereal as you like.
Plenty of parking.
We booked a King Size room but only got a standard double.

A truly beautiful location with views that span for miles.
Nothing, it was perfect.

This is very much a wonderful country family home. Our hosts were friendly and engaged and meals were shared with other guests while our hosts were attentive.
Everything was great, although the facilities didn't really sparkle to the extent that the price might have indicated.
