The view from the balcony was amazing, with a very beautiful garden. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay - even some beach equipment. The hosts were also very kind.

Good instructions and easy to find the key safe. Spacious apartment and glorious view of the town and sea. Quiet neighbourhood, despite the music being piped into the garden from the hotel next door. Lovely grounds and plenty of parking space.

However, the host gave the codes for all 4 apartments and so I did not feel safe when leaving the door key in the safe whilst we went out for the day. The shower curtain was orange with mould and dragging in the shower tray - the plug hole was equally orange. There was a build-up of limescale on the taps and the bracket to hold the shower head, so you can stand under it, was in need of being screwed tighter and it just spun around so that the shower head dropped off. You had to balance it on the back of the taps to be able to put it down whilst soaping/washing yourself. Very irritating. Also, the bathroom doesn’t have a ceiling light, just a little led strip light placed on top of the wall cabinet. This made the bathroom very dim at night and showering after dark was irksome. ‘the kitchen provided most of the issues though as we arrived to find the fridge was not actually cold. We emailed booking.com about this issue but heard nothing for a couple of days. I eventually rang the numbers on the poster in the apartment and spoke to the owner. She had her cleaner come in and check the fridge, then told us to turn the whole fridge-freezer off as the build-up of ice in the freezer can affect the fridge. We came back from our day out to a warm fridge and then had to empty all of the melting ice out of the freezer and switch it back on. We got up the following morning to find the fridge even warmer than before! Another phone call to the owner, who ordered a new fridge-freezer. This was not delivered until the last day of our holiday, whilst we were out, and I managed to insist that someone go round and turn it on after 3 hours (for the gasses to settle). We returned at 8.30pm to find it on, although it wasn’t properly cold until the morning we checked out. This was all very stressful and required work from us to defrost the old one, no cold drinks all week. Not enough cutlery or saucepans. Tiny forks. No knives for bread or chopping. Had to cut a loaf with a steak...
