Logement très propre, bien équipé, bien situé pour visiter basse terre.

Obviously very recently modernised with a good kitchen and no longer the wooden shutter doors of the photo. Separate air-con in lounge and bedroom.

Nothing within walking distance and Boiullante, the local town, seemed quite run down compared with the other towns on the area.

The apartment is clean and comfortable. Facilities are like new. Air conditioning is in both bedroom and kitchen, making it perfect to cool down the room and not put the cooling directly on you. The owner lady is very nice, however doesn’t speak English, just French. The house is located in a quiet small street, so you will sleep very well! To find the house, search for “gîte citronelle” in maps, as using the address will lead you to the wrong place.

May not be suitable for not confident drivers, the turn to the main road from the house is very steep with low visibility. Parking is outside on no pavement - can be a problem for rainy weather.

It was not at the location where it was advertised. There was no toilet seat.
