Absence of bidet

1-The view was perfect. 2-The staff vero Kinde and polite. 3-If you have low budget in Laiguglia is almost ok.

1. The train passes under the hotel evergreen 15-20 minute so you can not leave the windows open, because the sound Of train is really bothering. 2. The cleaning was zero, I don’t say the linen weren’t washed but they smelled Bad and they had a lot Yellow spots. 3. There is not Bidè in the toilet. 4. In our room there was a door Of another room, is like they were living with us. 5. There is no fridge, no snack nothing nothing in the room. No service no facility.

Staff super welcome and friendly

Beautiful hotel in an old building with so much history, situated at such an amazing location. Old fashioned hotel with modern comfort, excellent and friendly sevice. Perfect place to wind down. The staff was excellent. The room was absolutely comfortable with a nice view on the sea. We got the chance to admire a nice sunset from there. The breakfast and dinner were very good and everything was much more than what we expected before arriving!

It was hard to find a parking spot, but also this was a super busy weekend, so I guess it's easier to find roadside parking on a "normal" weekend when there is no public holiday.

The view

I have driven past the hotel for years and thought the location would be too noisy. But it was a lovely location, although by a curb of the road, the hotel is situated on a small hill. You climb a steep little hill and stair to reach the hotel, and is greeted with a magnificent view of the Laigueglia bay. We had a room with a small balcony and sea view. It was lovely to sit there in the evening reading a book, and it was surprisingly quiet. No sound from restaurants and bars as you have in the old town, and not much traffic. At the same time it's only a short walk from the old town and the beaches. The room was small - just room for three beds, but we were only staying one night so it was ok for us. The room was renovated in retro style and the bathroom was brand new. We could definitely have stayed a few more nights. We arrived at 9 to deposit our luggage, but was checked-in and given a room right away which was a bonus. The staff was welcoming and the hotel had a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast has a small selection, but the view from the breakfast patio is great. It was also shadowy and cool in the morning.

The hotel has a "no noise"-policy from 2330 until 0730. However our neighbour in the adjoining room entered at midnight, slamming the door and putting on a football match on the telly. Since the door to the adjoining room is think and has a gap, we could hear all sounds from the other room.
