I have stayed at the courtyard almost every summer since I was a teen. The room we stayed in was one of the cutest I’ve ever seen. It is perfect for friends, family or your significant other. Thank you!!!!

My husband and I were there for a short 4-day beach getaway, just the two of us. The condo was the perfect size for us. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved the décor and furnishings, it was very nice. The location was great as well.

This is a very nice condo that is close to the beach. The room was nice and clean and a perfect place for a couples getaway. I only took one star away from the property for one reason. I am being charged a cleaning fee for the rental and then asked to do what should be covered in the cleaning fee. I was given instructions that we had to load and run the dishwasher as well as take out the trash. I have never been asked that at any VRBO rental. I would be more understanding if we left the place an absolute wreck, and got charged an additional fee, but if you are charging me a fee and have 5 hours to get the rental ready for the next guests, then you should be fine.

Reviewer Comments: our experience with the port A escape rental that we booked through airbnb felt like a scam due to their pet policy. We booked a rental through airbnb w the filter that we needed pet friendly. We get info on the portal with the rental, i print off all the notes. there is NOTHING listed that i can see in big text or anything that brings your attention to the fact that this property we paid for has an HOA that does not allow pets. We were threatened with eviction because no one could help us after hours, and paid an additional 300$ to secure another night of our stay at another property.

It was comfortable, clean and well appointed, and at a reasonable price. Overall, the island still suffers from a lack of employees, most every restaurant was closed or on shortened days/hours, making eating out very difficult and frustrating. But the beach was great and as always, when on the island we learned to slow down and take time to relax.

My wife and I took a long weekend away. This place was perfect for us! Five minute walk to the beach and a five minute drive to all the restaurants. Next time we get to go back to the coast I will look for this room again.

We’ve stayed here twice so obviously we like it. But both times the TV didn’t work & there are no instructions on how to get it working. We called Port A Escapes & they could only offer to have maintenance stop by, NO THANK YOU. Also don’t book with VBRO they charge fees they don’t need to charge & give you the wrong total amount.

The down fall is the kitchen lights need a big improvement. It is very difficult to see.
I liked the decorations but there are just to many Nick knacks on all the tables. It makes table, counter, and other available space to put things smaller.
The pool needs to be HEATED!

Easy two block walk to the beach; I'd recommend people bring a wagon to hold beach chairs etc on the walk. No need for a golf cart for us since it was so close to the beautiful beach. The pool was a fantastic reprieve from the heat! Only drawback was that the wifi was slow and no cell service in the condo so plan on disconnecting while inside. Otherwise a great place to relax!

Our stay was perfect. I had a few questions before the trip and always received a timely response. This unit is located right in front of the pool which made access easy. The only drawback was that the refrigerator and freezer never really got cold enough. We ended up moving our meats to the freezer to make sure they didn’t go bad. I would definitely still return.

Room two blocks from beach. Room was clean an a/c worked great.Floor was gritty , should have Been wet mopped before new renter got there. Over all I give the condo a 7 ouy of 10.
