Great atmosphere. Big rooms. The guy let me borrow his sandals and even got me dinner and offered to drive me!

Beds was comfy. And staff was great and so helpful. Hostel has good vibe all the time and everyone get together and share their experiences in their travel. Best hostel to stay your time in weligama.

They had a water filter which gave high quality drinking water. So no need for plastic bottles. I want more of this. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. Nice communal rooftop area.

The Backpack Hub is such a warm and friendly place to stay in Welligama! Managers are very helpful with everything, and always organizing small events on the rooftop to bring all the guests closer together. During the time of our stay, we had a few BBQs with them, on the rooftop or on the beach. They also have a massage facility now! The kitchen is very nice and big with many stoves and an oven. There is a badminton net and rackets. The dorms have A/C. It's really cheap for all the good energy and quality service you can find there. Enjoy!

Sometimes it seems a bit unorganized. Kitchen is not very clean, but that's on the guests.

There is so many cool people there and constantly there is sth going on. hanging out at the rooftop or going together to a party. But during the day people are also working and it’s a chilled vibe.

A lot of people and one main chill area so easy to meet people.

I never slept in beds that made so much noise when moving around. In general the hostel doesn't look very clean

The hostel was so good and I felt like at home so I stayed more than 1 month. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. You can meet a lot of good people. We were used to organize big dinner with everybody from the hostel on the rooftop. If you stay at Welligama, BagPack hub is the place to see! You won't be disapointed

The location is so cool, close to the beach, a supermarket and even a private hospital is right there. You get to meet so many nice people, fellow solo travellers, and you have your own freedom as well. Such a calm and quiet place. Things were pretty clean and all the facilities were provided. I would go again and recommend the place.

The hostel is super spacious and has to lot of places chill out!! its super close to the beach and linked with a really nice surfing school called surf mania!The rooms are really cheap and clean specially what is around weligama. Great location value for money. Staff were very helpful and amazing. Literally one of the best hostel in srilanka.
