The house is photographed well, omitting the issues we encountered. The house needs some maintenance. Some things are minor, but important. The vertical blinds in the master bedroom are missing many slats. So, the sun shines in early in the morning (making it difficult to sleep), and there is no privacy from neighboring houses (which are very close). The master bathroom door does not fit. A folding closet door has replaced a properly fitting door, leaving many gaps. Privacy is limited at best. There was an issue with the laundry when we arrived, so we were not able to get into the house at time of check-in. The master bedroom TV was not usable. The location is great, and the house has potential, but some of the issues I listed were included in reviews dating back to 2019, so they do not seem to be a priority.

First and foremost, this location is amazing! You have everything at your fingertips, including an easy walk to the beach. IMPT: This is the REAR unit of this property which is not mentioned in the description. When we arrived, I walked into the front door and walked into someone else’s place while they were there. Luckily, they were nice about it. This is a very spacious 4 BR home with close proximity to restaurants, a beach, a trolley, Pickleball, and a playground. It’s great for kids and families. It's a wonderful walking neighborhood and biking area. Lucy and her family were responsive and tended to major items needing repair or attention. Thank you! The property needs some basic maintenance, but other than that it is a comfortable, generous, lovely space to spend time in.

The only problem we encountered is that there are 2 properties in one. It wasnts disclosed that the property was the back entrance and it took a little while to find that entrance. But all and all it was a great stay. Would suggest this rental. It was cold when we went but it was 2 blocks from the beach and 10 min drive to clearwater pier.

Overall location is awesome, But the house needs major updating and repairs. Beds needs new mattresses Shower upstairs safety hazard door does not shut Refrigerator needs updating Light for the parking area need more light, safety and walking. Better management on the property, Never respond for emergency We arrived and did not get keys for 2 hours. unable to reach Host. Tv remotes dd not work.

owner pays attention to detail eg there was enough dish soap washer soap bags etc to last 4 days and so no special shopping needed.most owners are stingy with towels. She was not for sure.. The house might be a bit older bit it was roomy and very comfortable. being a five minute walk from the b each was a plus.And there are countless places to eat up and down the room really close by . I know some others if I recall have complained about wear and tear issues.. they are minor .. don't worry..We likely will return next year which should say it all ... oh btw our new puppy loved the yard..

This listing is just a short walk to the beach, which was great. Bring your own chairs and cart. There are lots of beach towels, though. The house itself could use some work. The appliances in the kitchen are old and broken, but they are usable. The rug in the living room needs a major cleaning or replacement. The blinds are missing slats. The floor in the upstairs bathroom needs to be recovered. Although it is listed to have two bathrooms, the one upstairs can only be accessed through the master bedroom, so if anyone is in the bedroom, you won't be able to use it and will have to go downstairs.

We enjoyed this property! We were two families staying together so overall it fit our needs. The place is spacious and was clean. I really enjoyed that they had baby toys in the closet and that they had Netflix and such on the main TV! For the price for the size and proximity to the beach I’ll give it 5 stars. The house definitely could use some maintenance, but overall nothing too concerning!

We had booked and paid in full over a year prior to our stay. As we were driving from PA to FL we received a message from the owner, that the house had been overbooked and we were "lucky" it was only for four days. We had adult children/grandchildren flying in and with nowhere to stay. The owner blamed VRBO but we were told by VRBO that the owners take care of booking. Either way, we were without a place to stay. Everywhere was booked due to snowbirds, spring break and biker week. The night before we were due to check in, (after dealing with this for 6 days 3-4 times a day) VRBO finally stepped up. There are really no toys/games, many VHS tapes but no player. There are no blankets and we had to purchase some. Kitchen was not well stocked. Outside deck is missing posts that a 2 1/2 year old could easily have fallen thru and table is stabilized with a lego! No vacuum, no ironing board cover... Washer didn't spin/drain most of the time, refrigerator shelves were broken, and blinds in master bedroom were missing so many slats that you had to dress in the bathroom. This house is spacious and in a good location but very much needs maintenance and deep cleaned. It was a great size for the 5 adults and 2 children and the home could be beautiful but seriously needs work.

House was great and spacious. A little disappointed in how rude the housekeeper was with us when we asked a simple question and that the washer and dryer were non functional. Other than that, it was a great place to stay at.

In need of some updating and maintenance of property. It was okay for a couple of days stay. Probably would just stay at hotel next time.

Overall a sufficient place to stay. Great location, price, and privacy. The space comfortably holds a large group. This is unit A in a 2 unit home, which I somehow did not realize when booking. To be fair I did not contact the host for any reason during our stay, this is an option I have never had to exercise before and it was Thanksgiving Day. The home was not as clean as I have come to expect from my past experiences with home rentals. The master bathroom door is what I would describe as an accordion closet door; which, is difficult to close from the inside. This is particularly important since there are only 2 bathrooms. The floor in the master bathroom is cracked and the carpets are stained and bubbling from not being stretched tightly anymore. Frankly all of the area rugs should be thrown out and not replaced. A lot of the walls are dirty, scuffed, or have chips in the drywall. The extra blanket in the guest room upstairs has at least an 18 inch rip in it. Many pieces of silverware had food residue on on them and there was not necessarily enough service ware for 8 (there are far less than 8 wine glasses). There are a rainbow of linens provided, many with stains, where White is the cleanliness standard. For a home that sleeps 8 we had: approximately 3 rolls of toilet paper for 3 days. There seemed to be an insufficient number of hand towels. Again, this is a good space with a fantastic location and loads of potential. However, there is a lot of opportunity for improvement.

Great place, close to good food and the beach!

I thought the house was outstanding. Great set up and had ample amount of towels and other kitchen items available. The outside area and putting green had not been cleaned in quite some time. Putting green had tons of debris on it which we cleaned off. Also, the cable system was awful. Had no local channels, ESPN or basic cable available. It seemed expectation was for you to use your own Smart TV app (Amazon, Hulu, You Tube, etc...) to find TV channels and it was very frustrating. Short of that, great location and very nice house for a vacation.

We had a group of golfers that needed a nice place to stay while we golfed around the area for a week. The property had everything we needed, and was very quiet despite the large crowds at the beach the and bars at peak vacation time. Just 1-2 streets off Gulf Drive..very convenient and plenty of room. Never heard or saw the people in the adjacent unit.
