Muchas gracias
Todo estaba genial

They made you feel welcome and would stay again

Beautiful building in a great location. Great attention to detail and really liked the lavazza coffee and muffins and chocs. The pool and gardens were lovely and perfect for cooling off and taking a break from the city.
All lovely

The palace and grounds were wonderful. The owners provided an infomative tour of their home. Nice touches, such as towels for the pool, biscuits and chocolates on arrival.
A few minor improvements in the facilities would have made it a great stay. The coffee maker had green mould in the water dispenser, so we couldn't use it, ants in the kettle and the shower curtain needs replacing.

Quirky place with nice little touches
Pool could benefit from sun loungers and area made to feel more welcoming.

We loved our stay. The swimming pool was a real bonus when temps soared to over 40deg!
Location was perfect, bed was really comfortable. Loved the bathroom.
Access to a fridge would have been great

The hosts were fantastic, very knowledgeable and attentive. The tour of the Palace was wonderful. The location was fantastic, seconds walk from the Central plaza as well as mote local places. The rooms were comfortable, well decorated, and our sherry was lovely. This stay was faultless.
Absolutely nothing.

it’s family history owned since thirteenth century, a privilege to stay where royalty had stayed. A tour of the palace by our host was enlightening and very interesting. It’s central location to the historical centre. Also our host was most helpful with local information.

A building of great historical interest. Our room was very comfortable and the added treats of coffee, chilled water, biscuits, nuts and chocolates were a lovely surprise.
There was nothing to dislike.

Wonderful to stay in a historic building. Fabulous antique furniture, lovely garden & pool. Very interesting tour of the palace by the delightful & very knowledgable host.
Wonderful bathroom too!
Coffee machine, water, biscuits, nuts & chocolates in room were a great touch.
Very few chairs in garden.
Steep stairs!

The Palacio del Virrey Laserna is just one minutes walk from the heart of Jerez so the location was perfect. The Palacio is several hundred years old so it is not modern inside but the rooms are pleasant (some have a view of the back garden and pool). The bathrooms have more recent facilities. This is the kind of place you book because you want character that is totally missing from modern hotels. I enjoyed my 2-night stay.

Beautiful atmospheric building. Really unusual, quiet, lovely garden. Furnishings very sympathetic to the history of the building. Nice touch having nibbles and cakes.
Nothing really - another bedroom chair would have been useful. Maybe a kettle and a little fridge?

It is completely unique and gives ine a sense of Jerez during another time.

How many times have YOU slept in a palace! The sense of antiquity was inspiring, the artwork amazing, and the beds were extremely comfortable. And, the location was in the thick of it yet quiet.

Location excellent, and host very welcoming. An interesting and unique accommodation, an historic building , yet very comfortable . We really appreciated the coffee machine, cakes, oat biscuits for breakfast aswell as chilled water, bowl of delicious mixed nuts & box of chocolates on the pillow. We felt thoroughly spoilt!
We really enjoyed a tour of the Palace the following afternoon. Would love to stay again!

Historic charm and central location in Jerez. Very personal treatment from the owner.
Lack of elevator but staff made up for it by being very accommodating.

The location was splendid being just around from the main square. The location was very quiet with no noise being heard from outside. The residence was a family home with some parts being a museum. The exhibits all related in some way to the family who could trace their anchesters back to the thirteenth century.

beautiful room in an exceptional location
we were sad not to be able to see the palace rooms as we could not stay until the tour time

A joy from start to finish, great communication. The beautiful spacious room was a lovely place to relax after day out and about, with sweets, treats and coffee machine (the coffee cups was my favourite thing) were an extra bonus. It was so quiet and I slept like a log. Would highly recommend staying here if you visit Jerez
That I could only stay 2 nights

central - coffee facilities
the room we had was dirty, dark and very cramped. Cobwebs on the dingy dirty crystal lamp, hardly room to walk around the bed,no comfy chair to sit in. Bathroom needed a major upgrade. worse of all was the bed cover was actually filthy with various stains on it. Swimming pool area was dirty and unwelcoming. Garden was unkempt with broken tiles. No sun beds only a rusty table with grubby chairs cushions. Staircase to rooms very steep and narrow

Location was really great and the owner was attentive when we had a problem with the air-conditioning. Lovely tranquil garden and super swimming pool. The antique furniture in the room was really beautiful.
We could not use the A/C and despite beautiful antique furniture in the bedroom there was no where to put towels in the bathroom or suitcases in the bedroom. There was no fridge but we were given cold water in a flask, nuts and biscuits each day. We think the building is amazing but it's transformation into accommodation is not quite finished.

We loved staying in a historical palace in the old part of Jerez, that was very much a family home. The furniture was in keeping and the bed was very comfortable with very high quality bedding. There was plenty of hot water in a big bathroom. Coffee was on hand with a Nespresso machine and the hosts, who were very friendly, made sure we had everything we needed, including chocolate!
There was a beautiful garden outside with a pool and towels provided.
A very interesting tour of the main Palace was included in the price and led by one of the Counts brothers, who was himself very charming.
