The house was beautiful, well equipped and well layed out. Beds were comfortable.
The smell of vinegar when we opened the door and the hard floors were sticky, all our sock hard to be thrown away after our stay as they were black.

First time staying in a Donnini property and it did not disappoint. Easy to access property with a very high standard of clean. Well provisioned and comfortable throughout. Definitely somewhere to return to.

The place was very clean and tidy , had everything you needed. Plenty of apps to watch on the TV , free WiFi, excellent place and well run company, have used them before in other locations and will continue to use them.

Location was really convenient - close to Ayr and Prestwick - not quite walkable for family but very short drive. The house is the middle one of three in a quiet residential area - the ones either side are peoples homes - neighbours were friendly. Newton on Ayr station (from which you can get trains to Glasgow) was walkable. More supermarkets than you can shake a stick at within a couple of miles. Plenty of nice restaurants in Ayr and Prestwick, Newton park is 5 mins walk away. Donnini team were quick to address a couple of niggles and kept in contact with us. Great having a washing machine and dishwasher in the kitchen. House had wifi and also Netflix which was a bonus.

More storage e.g. drawers for clothes would have been useful, especially as there was space in the wardrobe for them. Dustpan and brush would have been useful. Rotary airer outside one of the arms had almost disintegrated - still works, but could do with replacing. Freezer had something spilled in it, didn't really use the freezer but would have been better to be clean. Would have been nice to have had some table mats for the table. Could have done with scissors in the drawers.

Was forced to check-in an hour later because the agency did not update their check-in times on Booking.com.
Very hot upstairs.

No towel or oven mitts in kitchen.
