The location couldn’t have been better, it was never crowded yet everything was within walking distance

Jackie was an exceptional host! She has thought of everything to assure her guests have a beautiful stay. The apartment was clean and very nicely appointed…the courtyard patio, canal side, was the perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening, all while seeing the occasional gondola pass by. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood but still only a few minutes walk away from restaurants, shops and the Grand Canal. Grazie mille Jackie for providing the perfect spot to appreciate all Venice has to offer!

This place was awesome even with the really horrible couch. Great quiet location, fun being right on the the canal, excellent air conditioning during an extreme heat wave. Very nice kitchen and well equipped. We LOVED the outdoor patio and found it to be a great place to paint. Super clear directions, and attentive host.

Ca’ Venexiana was a perfect spot for our family of 4 to stay. Just the right size, a wonderful small patio to spend early mornings and evenings and all the amenities you need. Jackie is clear with communicating and provided a greeter, Erika, who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I loved spending time in the morning drinking coffee on the patio and enjoying the serenity. In the evenings, we spent our time outside playing cards and watching the gondolas go by. They provide a nice sitting area indoors with a TV, movies, games and a computer, but we never made it into that room. It was too nice to be indoors. This location has easy access to the popular nightlife locations, but is in a more quiet local neighborhood which worked wonderful for our family. We were comfortable with our teenagers heading out on their own when they wanted to grab gelato. We enjoyed eating at more local restaurants and people watching as we strolled through the streets. This was our last stop of a 2 week vacation and we regret not staying here longer. On our last night my husband and I talked about returning for a 2-4 week stay when the kids go off to college and we would definitely want to stay here again. You’ve created a real gem! Thanks for the welcoming hospitality and helping our family create lifetime memories!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. The patio opening onto the canal really was a bonus. The location is very safe, walkable to many attractions and the water taxi. There are restaurants nearby and a grocery store. The furnishings were comfortable, with everything needed. Highly recommend.

Beautiful apartment with all the amenities, great patio opens up onto one of the many canals, so peaceful. Great location to explore Venice from, you can get to anywhere in the city within a 20 minute walk. Easy to get to from the airport via Alilaguna which stops at the bottom of the main Street, 5 minute walk to apartment. Great restaurants, bars and shops in the area, more reasonably priced than in the more tourist areas. Would definitely return. Don't miss the opportunity to book this little slice of heaven! Superb!

My friend and I had a wonderful stay in your apartment. The private patio opened up to a canal. It was fun watching the gondolas and other boats go by. We also loved the location. This is not a touristy area, but most sites are within a 20 minute walk. I can't wait to go back!

This property was everything we could have hoped for! The Dorsoduro neighborhood was perfect for being close to the sites but away from the crowds. Excellent restaurants nearby. Our host, Jackie, was highly responsive and helpful and thought of literally everything in the apartment. I highly recommend staying at Ca’Venexiana!

My wife and I booked this lovely apartment for the amazing location. Right on the corner of two quiet canals with a wonderful outdoor area looking over the canal. Tea in the morning as the gondolas came slowly last. We had an amazing stay. Only wish we had more time to really enjoy the apartment as we were always out so much of the day and night. It is Venice after all.

Fabulous location and very quaint stay. Air conditioning and each bedroom had fans which was great. Gist was friendly and explained everything in detail. We would definitely stay again if needed too Linda

We loved everything about this place, the host met us at vaperrotto drop off and walked us to property and showed us where everything was and gave us a bottle of wine (yum) the 2 rooms were perfect and loved the little courtyard for coffee in morning and watching gondolas go by. We loved this apartment in the heart of Dosoduro- well equipped and comfortable, very easy walking distance to the galleries and to everything really, with a little courtyard garden that really is a joy. We had a lovely evening there eating take out pizza and drinking supermarket prosecco, playing cards with the kids, watching the boats go by and pretending that we actually live in Venice. Wonderful local restaurants - La Bitta was a real treat. Our greeter was very helpful and easy to contact. Highly recommend this place.

Unbeatable experience! This apartment is away from the crowds and really helps you enjoy venice. We are so glad we stayed here and not near San Marco square in a hotel. You will see the real Venice from this apartment. Loved it, and morning coffee by the canal sitting in their courtyard was an incredible experience. Host was very helpful and available.

Very romantic setting. Just be aware that GPS does not work in Venice and it can be difficult to get around. Otherwise a lovely stay.

We loved this location! It was close enough to some action while being slightly removed and quiet. The patio was an absolute delight! We ate breakfast out there and sipped some wine in the afternoon all while sitting right on this quiet canal. Great vibe inside the house too! Thank you!!

An absolute hidden gem - everything you need for a comfortable stay. In a quiet area for sleep but only a few minutes walk away for cafes and wonderful atmosphere. The comfortable beds are 100% and we all slept very well. The courtyard is magical! Communication has been above snd beyond and the owner has been very informative. Thank you we had the most wonderful short stay.

Ca’ Venexiana is a gem. We had the best time staying there while we were in Venice. The property was very clean and the charm with this apartment was spot on. Your typical utensils and cooking items were fully stocked and the place had great amenities and features. We really went there to explore Venice but we always wanted to get back to the house and drink some wine in the courtyard. This is my first time staying in Desodoro and first time with canal views and now I don’t want to stay anywhere else. There are plenty of things to do around the apartment and Piazza San Marco is a short walk away. We would love to return. Also Jackie and Ericka were very responsive and helpful with any recommendations.

The apartment is nice, very Venice-like, Italian, and completely equipped. Jackie has written instructions for everything making it easy to know how to operate anything. There is a washing machine, no dryer which is typical of Italy. Stocked kitchen. Beds are comfortable, quiet setting, cozy. Met directly at the vaporetti stop, no waiting, quick and good instructions upon arrival. I would stay here again.

The apartment was nice - although on the small side - perfect for two but three or four would be cramped. Kitchen well equipped and overall the unit was very clean and comfortable. Great location for hopping on and off the Water Bus - 3 min walk and the little neighborhood had everything you need. Enjoyed our 4 nights there even though you are close to the Grand Canal hustle bustle, it was a very quiet location. Hosts were very informative and helpful.

Communication was excellent from the time we booked until the time we checked out. The whole crew was awesome and continually checked in with us. The property itself was as incredible as the listing description states. The terrace on the canal was an amazing place to hang out with coffee in the morning or wine in the afternoon. Property was very well stocked and had everything we needed or wanted (including 3 ways to make espresso). We highly recommend staying at this property if you are looking for a gorgeous place to stay that’s close to almost everything.

We are frequent users of VRBO. Our as experience as usual, was excellent. The apartment location was fantastic. Getting there from the airport via water taxi was fast and easy. We only had to negotiate one bridge (that means steps) between the drop off and the apartment. The location is in a quiet part of Dorsoduro, but an easy walk to the main market district and St. Mark’s square. The bed in the master bedroom was wonderful. The kitchen was nicely appointed and well stocked with staples (coffee, sugar, etc.). The bathroom was quite large by European standards. The sitting room was lovely, but might be a squeeze for four adults. The book left by the host was thorough and the recommendations for local eateries were spot on. There was also a concierge who met us to show us the way to the apartment and she was excellent in communication and was also responsive to questions via WhatsApp. We will return to Venice and will try to stay here again.

Ca'Venexiana is perfectly situated and furnished with everything you need to cook, clean, wash, and relax. The property owner is SO responsive and helpful (not to mention blessed to own this beautiful apartment!). The small courtyard is splendid! This apartment is a little gem in the real Venice away from the crowds. It certainly helps that Dorsoduro is my favorite sestiere! Thank you, Jackie for sharing your lovely little piece of Venice! This is a wonderful place to stay in Venice. 5 min walk to the #2 vaporetto that travels the Giudecca Canal (St Mark’s and Tronchetto) and #1 that travels the Grand Canal. The area is quiet but not far from the places you want to see. The Courtyard is small but lovely and the beds were comfortable. Jackie is responsive and provided great recommendations for visiting Venice. Don’t hesitate to book this apartment for your Venice trip.
