This is a five star house with just a few added things. Given the street the house was on was hit pretty hard with Irma we expected worse condonditions. The Master bedroom is huge along with the master bath The other rooms are all large The kitchen was great with everything we needed Things we would have liked to have More outdoor patio furniture on the roof, on the extra patio upstairs and on ground level. Again post hurricane we expected this. Our only complaint was the living room seating was rather uncomfortable. We were stuck in the house for a few days because of bad weather so more comfortable couch would have been nice. The water front docking gets shallow on low tide but our 33’ Hydrasports fit well on it. This is a great value for your money we would have spent 800 per night in hotels and not been able to cook meals Parking is ample

We had several issues with this house...some of the storm shutters were still up blocking a couple of windows and a double door entryway onto one of the patios. We stayed there 2 months after hurricane Irma. When I called Maggie to see if someone could take them down I was told ‘there’s nothing really to see out that way anyways’ and that she was out of town until Monday but would check with me then to see if I still wanted them down. I did, but I never heard from her the remainder of our stay (a week). The listing states sleeps 12, but there are only beds for 8. So it does sleep 12, if 4 of your group want to sleep on an air mattress in the middle of the living room. There was no hot tub, no pool table, no bikes, the zodiac was deflated and dirty, there was boat on the side of the house that was covered in debris and old trash. There were two grills both of which were disgusting-one so bad we didn’t even bother trying to clean it. We also noticed halfway through the trip that none of the smoke alarms were hooked up-they were all in a drawer in the kitchen. The ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms didn’t work. Tables on the patios which would have been really nice except there were no chairs to go with the tables. There were broken tiles all over the outside patios, broken glass everywhere in the rocks in the yard. And not just random prices of glass, PILES OF GLASS. There is a neighborhood beach, however it’s not in the neighborhood, it’s across us 1 and down a side road. I also emailed Maggie about our concerns and never heard back from her. We did have a good time because luckily we brought our own entertainment and have friends who live nearby. The house has great potential but definitely fell short. Disappointing to say the least.

The house sits at the end of a canal where, for reasons I couldn't understand, the water is gross, murky, and stinks. As you head out the canal toward the ocean, the water clears up, but it put a damper on the property as a whole.
