We looked for an inexpensive spot for a weekend getaway and this was perfect. As advertised, it is extremely small, but the use of space was very efficient. Everything was clean and comfortable.
We had the unfortunate luck of visiting when a tropical storm was making landfall, so we didn’t get to use all of the amenities, but we did see the beach equipment and kayak.
The location was great. A very quiet and well maintained neighborhood within walking distance of the beach. It was a short drive to restaurants and shopping as well.
I’d love to visit again if we ever go back to Topsail Island.

The place was very clean, nice, and exactly as described. Excellent use of space and really cute. We enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor shower.
Only two notes; the Wi-Fi password was a little hard to find, it's on the kitchen counter and to turn on the hot tub jets you have to press the button just right. 😉

3 night stay in a quiet neighborhood. Everyone we met were friendly and welcoming. Plenty of regular surfers. We spent most of our days at the main pier beach area. You pay to park but you can tell money is put back into the community. We had a great relaxing time and road bikes all the way to Topsail.

The space was perfectly outfitted for the size. Our party was 4 adults and we had no trouble with the size. Jennifer's description is spot on. She is also very responsive and helpful. The location can’t be beat, a short walk to the beach and a quaint family friendly neighborhood. They neighbors (and their pets!) we’re lovely! The gazebo and marsh were also very nice. Nearly everything you need for a day at the beach or a bicycle stroll is included. The only difficulty we encountered is that many restaurants on the island cut their wait and didn’t accept tables relatively early. We found many options that were delicious a few miles inland. We’ll definitely stay here again, it does not disappoint.

The description of this unit was accurately described in the posting, many positives including nicely decorated and lots of items to borrow in the garage. We chose not to use the hot tub because the weather was 90+ and humid, so I can't comment on that. Neighborhood beach (about 5 minute walk away) is beautiful and not busy. Don't plan on using trundle bed for an adult. It rests against the bathroom door.- too tight (I think the listing might have mentioned this.) Also when we opened it up, it was sandy and still had previous sheets on there. I did not bother contacting the manager initially on this since my son was fine to sleep on the couch.

We had so much fun the beach is a couple minute walk and the pool was great! Everything is close by. Beautiful neighborhood and it was perfect for what we needed. We found lots of shark teeth which was the whole purpose of our trip

Our family of 4 (my husband and our 2 adult children) loved our stay at this rental. Everything was as pictured and described. Nice, quiet, and friendly neighborhood. It was convenient to everything to do in Topsail. Jennifer was quick to respond to any question we had. We would stay here again.

If you use the trundle bed, which is the third bed, there is not a path to the bathroom. The only shower is an outside shower. There is a mini fridge with no freezer and there is no toaster.

This was a great find! Everything in the listing is accurate. Jennifer, the owner, was so accommodating and always texted back right away to answer any questions. She was very kind and generous to us! I traveled with my two children and husband and we were comfortable for a weekend stay. The space is cozy and clean with everything you need. Jennifer even leaves some drinks, coffee, and snacks for guests which we thought was really wonderful touch. The neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is quiet and private. The walk to the beach is less than a quarter mile and took us 2 minutes. The road is really smooth and we were easily able to roll our cooler and our beach cart. The outdoor shower was really cool and honestly so convenient after a day at the beach.

This location was perfect for my wife and I to kayak the intercoastal. As well as explore Topsail Island. After a 5 mile paddle we were back at the rental relaxing in the hot tub. I was surprised how quiet the neighborhood was. 6 minute walk to the beach. The gazebo by the boat launch has spectacular sunset views over the intercoastal. Appreciate the Netflix on the tv. Appreciate the hot tub under the porch as it did rain one evening. We had a wonderful time.

Property is falsely advertised. DOES NOT sleep 4 only three and those are twin beds with such old mattress with stains. Hard as a rock Woke early with dog barking and heavy footsteps. There is NO indoor shower! Half bath. Shower is outside! Deck covered in black mold. Inside filthy! Host was so rude! We got great info from her neighbor! I would never recommend this place ever.

We were three adults and stayed for three nights eating most of our meals out. The location was a block from a paddleboard sound access which was great.

This was my toddler and my first trip together and it was the perfect place to stay! The property was well thought out with all the kitchen equipment (host even provided my first k-cup of coffee!), the tire swing, and the beach toys provided. We didn't need to pack all the extras you typically would when heading to the beach. With a toddler, not having a tub could be tricky, but I knew what to expect going into it. Jennifer communicated thoroughly and even included a long list of her favorite spots and things to do. We love that Surf City has so many playgrounds to visit! I'm looking forward to staying at this property again!

Pros:
The owner sent a lot of information about Topsail and expectations for the rental ahead of time, so we felt prepared going into our mini vacation. It was pretty easy to find and in a nice location. It was easy to get into the rental and smelled and looked nice when we entered. The hot tub was nice.
Cons:
The "walk" to the beach is longer than expected and not fun in 90 degrees carrying a bunch of beach stuff. We turned on the shower to rinse off and discovered that there is no hot water...after about 3 minutes of continuous running of the "hot" water it goes from freezing to barely passible for warm...maybe 70 degrees tops. We had to make the beds and struggled to put on 3 ill-fitting fitted sheets (you literally have to lift the trundle matress out to put the fitted sheet on because it doesn't slide out all the way), which was weird and lead us to a lot of bad discoveries. The beds are terrible. The slats to hold the mattresses up are so tiny and far apart that anyone over 200lbs will snap them like twigs and the beds are so loose they wobble and squeak like crazy. The trundle mattress has got to be a box spring, it's so uncomfortable. The trundle blocks the bathroom so you have to crawl over that person to get to it in the middle of the night. Because we had to make the beds, we discovered the dust, dirt, and debris under the trundle bed and the disgusting pillows that were so stained and gross. The AC and fans have a bunch of dust caked on them. The rugs and couch/chair cushions and pillows are so stained and dirty it is hard to believe that they've ever really been cleaned. I just started taking pictures and videos of all the bad stuff, and after the first night of no sleep, we decided to not stay the second night. It was better for us to just leave the second night than have to suffer through another night.
We did have a good couple of days enjoying the beach, but we will never stay in this rental again and do not recommend it.
