A good value short stay in a well equipped lodge with a great hot tub in a quiet location.
Peaceful location for a short break. The lodge was clean and well equipped and as described. The hot tub was a key reason for booking and it didn't disappoint, very clean having been refilled before our arrival.
The golf club restaurant was closed in the evenings and we could not get any response from the Baiting House pub up the road. However, there are many good restaurants in Bromyard about 6 miles away. We could not park by the lodge, even to unload the car, and had to use the golf club car park. They did offer us the use of a buggy if needed.

Lovely lodge is quiet and secluded location.
The lodge was lovely, clean and well maintained with cooker, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer. The location is lovely and quiet: very rural. Club house food was excellent and they catered for vegan diet. Hot tub was lovely. We will return

Location and Privacy- There are 4 lodges in total with 3 available to book, Saunton and Carnoustie are 3 bedrooms and Porthcawl has 2 bedrooms. We stayed in Porthcawl as a family of 4. Glad we got Porthcawl as the view is spectacular and better than what Saunton and Carnoustie have to offer. You'd see why the views in Porthcawl are better by looking at the top view on Google maps. Saunton is behind Porthcawl and they don't have much views and lack privacy too as our lodge is right in front of there's and behind them are bushes. Their hot tub is in full view from our bedroom window so I'd never book Saunton! Carnoustie and Porthcawl hot tubs are a little more private as they are not placed closely and directly outside anyone's window, but it is still in view and not totally private. Carnoustie hot tub doesn't boast the same beautiful view as Porthcawl though hence why Porthcawl is the best location. Sapey say online that the hot tubs are private so was a little disappointed at first as we can still be seen from neighbouring lodges, and anyone walking down the path towards their lodge have full view of us. Since we went in January the days are short so the majority of time we spent in the tub was night and the outside light was dim so it was private enough and we were comfortable and that's what mattered to us, so they don't lose any stars on that. I know it wouldn't have been the same level of comfort in the summer months. We didn't visit the restaurant, we prepared home cooked meals which we took with us. There isn't much to do around the area so the kids (8 and 7) did get a little bored at times but I love being in the middle of nowhere so I'm not complaining. Would be nice to have some lights on the path towards the lodges as everyone was using their phone torches while walking back and forth. Lodge condition- The Porthcawl lodge exceeded my expectations.

Very comfortable stay in lovely surroundings.
We used all 3 lodges for family and friends which was perfect for us. We were attending a wedding in the area and the lodges provided us with a base which enabled us to celebrate before the wedding, get ready together for the wedding and spend quality time after the wedding.

Fine but poor communication and still owe me money
Fine for this price
They charged £100 security deposit but then, despite me contacting them for it’s return, almost a month has passed and it has not been returned. Staff on the phone don’t seem to know about the accommodation. Mess of a situation. I recommend avoiding it.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Can’t wait to return!
Our stay was absolutely fantastic, made even more amazing by the staff at Sapey Golf and Country Club. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend a stay in one of the beautiful lodges and the home made food! One of the best roast dinners I’ve had!
We had to wait for 1 day for the hot tub to warm up. They could also do with a bin to dispose rubbish on the premises.
