The location is well centered in the town, walking distance from everywhere and close to the beach 10-15 minutes max walk. The staff is really lovely and always happy to help

Beautiful and big room with luxury appointments, marble etc. Great location easy to walk to shops and restaurants. This is like having your own luxury apartment.

The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful throughout our stay from check in to check out. The room was absolutely perfect. The location is wonderful, couldn't be any more central in the old town. Great stay overall and we will be recommending to family and friends.

We loved everything about our stay. The warm welcome from Helena, , the immaculately clean and comfortable room, great staff and perfect location. Our stay at Bowen was everything we expected and more than that. We will be back for sure and reccomend Bowen to anyone!

The breakfast was solid and the dining area was very nice. Our room and bathroom were spacious and had everything that we needed (including a little terrace, AC, beach towels, etc.). We only interacted with one staff member, but she was extremely pleasant and helpful. The aesthetic was not very unique, but it was perfectly satisfactory for a beach town hotel. The location was great (quiet but close to everything in town).

The safe in the room did not work (though we also did not submit a request to fix this). The hotel does not have an elevator (not unusual) so be prepared to carry your suitcase up the stairs if your room is on an upper floor.

Wow, this was a wonderful stay! I don’t want to create a false expectation… But this was really quite lovely! The bed and linens were exceptional. (very important to me!) I slept wonderfully! Spacious clean room. A/C worked like a dream. Great water pressure in the shower. The decor: simple clean lines and aesthetically pleasing. Very responsive front desk, fulfilling needs, like laundromat recommendations, hot tea at bed time and offering great restaurant references and travel advice. The location could not be better! Close to everything! A true gem in the center of old Lagos. We really enjoyed meeting the hospitable owners. So kind and gracious! Top notch service with exceptional accommodations. We hope to visit again.

Hmmmm, not much really… but important for Americans to know that bathroom amenities are a bit different. A bonus: tooth paste and tooth brush provided. But no hair conditioner or lotion. Not a problem. Just a note.

The property is immaculate, the room’s luxurious and everyone is so friendly and helpful. it’s the second time I’ve stayed, this was being extended and I will definitely be back.

The room was spacious and clean. Centrally located to restaurants and the sights. The owner Helena, is wonder! She has a great laugh and is so willing to help to ensure you have a great stay. Enjoyed breakfast on the roof top terrace and in the evening a glass of port.

The location was excellent; within easy walking distance to everything. The building and our room were clean and fresh and the woman at the reception desk was friendly and very welcoming. The beautiful rooftop terrace was a enjoyable added bonus!

There was construction going on next door, but it really wasn’t too noticeable since they only seemed to work when we were out enjoying the town and the gorgeous beaches. Putting up with some construction now is a small price to pay since when it’s finished, it will add to the beauty of the area.
